Exploration On Relationship Between Northeast Culture And Yang Limin’s Dramas Creation

Yang Limin, one of the best dramatists in the contemporary of China, who is a gifted writer at various area of literary creation, his literary creation related novels, essays, film literature and drama, he won a place in the dramatist circles in the contemporary of China by his hard work at literary creation area. Yang Limin has been known by his dramas of "Black rose" and "Black stone" which had blew up a "Black cyclone" at Beijing. From then on,Yang Limin has published a lot of influential dramas such as "Snowfield","Wilderness","Black haystack","A breaking couple","Geologist","North lake","In this family","Stop, wait a moment for our souls" and "Iron man anecdote".Academic circles have achieved certain successes on Yang Limin’s dramas as far as present researches. They had a rounded discussion to his dramas from its ideological connotation, character image, aesthetic characteristics, artistic style etc. and reach a certain depth and width. However, comparatively speaking, most of the researches limit to its ideological Significance and artistry. Their artistic analysis to Yang’s dramas as per traditional dramatic theory which means their evaluation to Yang’s dramas just limit to follow points:Characterization, Plot Structure, Expression Techniques, Style, Characteristics of Words Used and Stagecraft etc. while lack notice the relationship between Northeast Culture and Yang’s dramas. This thesis tries to take the Northeast Culture as a key to dig out the deep source of formation of Yang’s dramas, further explore the special of ideological theme and artistic style of Yang’s dramas. So as to further understanding of a mature dramatist in creation process and growth have been gained in the process of how cultural support.The main content of this thesis will be divided into five chapters exclude introduction and Concluding remarks.Introduction, introduce Yang’s major dramatic works, explain the research situation, existing problems of Yang Limin and the scope and thinking of this thesis. Chapter1focuses on the internal relations between Northeast Culture and artistic attitude of Yang’s dramas. It analyses the relationship between them on the deeply investigating of Northeast Culture’s connotation.Chapter2analyses the Northeast Culture influence on theme construction of Yang’s dramas. Yang is a writer who shows special preference to native theme and gets profound influence from Northeast Culture. His dramas have unique charm which expresses Northeast people’s pursuit of freedom, emphasis on friendship, dedication to the ideals and brave pursuit of love.Chapter3analyses the relations between the Northeast Culture and character image-building in Yang’s dramas. Northeast area’s harsh natural conditions and fishing, grazing and hunting lifestyle has bred brave and militarism people. Northeast people’s character design by their traditional value orientation:" Unyielding custom, intrepid people". Yang Limin appreciate such characteristics of personality.
