| Architectural words have study values of history, folk custom, politics and linguistics. But if we investigate the current research on this hand, we will find that the existing research is not systematic.Up to the moment, there is not any book on architectural words as well as any works on architectural words of Erya from the perspective of etymology. Therefore, I selected the fifth chapter ShiGong in Erya for research, including the interpreting words and the interpreted ones.The paper is made up of three chapters. The first chapter is Introduction, which is a brief introduction of the present research on architectural words of Erya, research theory, methods and the meaning of my research. The second chapter is a trial survey on the naming ration of ancient architectural noun words. Through the cognates linking method I studied the naming ration of seventeen architectural noun words and filed the naming rule that is, the most proportion is depending on functions and uses, the next biggest proportion is depending on shapes and those depending on spatial location is the fewest. The third chapter is an analysis and distinguishing of the synonymous nouns. I researched on 26 pairs of synonymous nouns in Shigong and found their distinguishing features.This paper discusses the Chinese lexical system from perspectives of cognate linking method and distinguishing of synonymous nouns, which provides a material for the systematic proving of Chinese vocabulary. |
