A Study Of Ideology In The Network Time

The concept of ideology has attracted extensive attention since its birth, and its influence on reality has been increasing with each passing day. New paradigms of ideology have come into play when people are still coping with the problems brought by the traditional ones. In China, with the rise of network society, the problems aroused by network ideology begin to gain increasing concern.Preceding from the concept of ideology, the paper explicates the definition, characteristics and functions of ideology and demonstrates the connotation of network ideology, especially the new performance characteristics after the shift of ideological environment from real space to network space. However, diversity and other features of network ideology not only promote our cultural prosperity in network society, but also bring some negative consequences and effects over the network ideology, which mainly reflect in several respects:First, network ideology starts to penetrate slowly into the daily cultural life; Second, network ideological conflicts become increasingly prominent; Third, traditional ideological system has undergone certain impact.Network ideology is profoundly changing the reality. Therefore, in order to cope with the challenges brought by network ideology, we should speed up to change our traditional ideological ideas, should continue to use Marxism to promote the melody in the network environment, should emphasize the functions of excellent traditional culture to shape network beliefs, and should ensure to purify the network ideological environment by means of diversified ways.
