The Use And The Evolvement Of The National Culture Elements Of Chinese Animation

There are many researches of Chinese animation at present, such as comparingChinese animation with the abroad animation; analyzing the technique of Chineseanimation; and discussing Chinese animation industry. Nowadays, more and moreresearches are about Chinese animation industry and techniques, but few of the cultureand the aesthetic appreciation, so this thesis pays more attention to the culture and theaesthetic appreciation，and has a research on the national culture elements of Chineseanimation.The thesis is mainly about the use and evolvement of the national cultureelements of Chinese animation. Firstly, discussing the expressive force and the culturevalue of these national culture elements from analyzing the use of the national cultureelements in Chinese animation; secondly, discussing the evolvement of the nationalculture elements in Chinese animation history diachronically, the change of thesenational culture elements caused by the change of society, so we can forecast the futureof Chinese animation from the evolvement of the national culture elements.There are two part of this thesis:The first part analyzes the typical national culture elements in Chinese animation.Such as: myth and legend, allegory, Chinese ink and wash painting, fresco, New Yearpaintings, paper-cut, shadow play, marionette, paper folding and the types of facialmakeup in Chinese operas. They are all the enchantments of Chinese traditional culture.Many stories like myths, legends and allegories, they provide Chinese animation withplenty of topic materials. Many painting skills like Chinese ink and wash painting,fresco, New Year paintings and the types of facial makeup in Chinese operas, theyprovide Chinese animation plenty of art designing models. Many art techniques likepaper-cut, shadow play, marionette and paper folding, they provide Chinese animationwith plenty of facture inspirations. And in this part, we also summarize the use of someminority nationality culture elements in Chinese animation.The second part analyzes the evolvement of the national culture elements inChinese animation history. In this part, we have a compare between Chinese animationand Japanese cartoon specially, we can get some useful information by this compare,and find some good ways can be worth to learn for us. At last of this part, we alsodiscuss the future of Chinese animation. From the exploring time which is full of Chinese national characteristics to theconfused time which is full of imitating aboard animation, and then the trend goes backto pay attention to the national elements, the development of Chinese animation is acirculation. Everything is changing, so if we want to give Chinese animation powerfullife, Chinese animation should be reform follow the step of time.
