Reading is the indispensable basic skills in individual development in the modernsocial, experiencing reading failure children often associated with behavior, social,academic and psychological difficulties. The Linguistic Coding Deficit Hypothesis isthat, the second language development dyslexia and native speaker of phonologicalawareness, orthographic awareness and semantic half-encircled coding languageprocessing ability have a close relationship. It not formed some good languageprocessing skills when children learn native language, and it may also lead to thedifficulty reading in the second language. So, what characteristic of processing skills insecond language reading disability language?What effects are in language processingskills to its second language reading? Research in4-6grade Uyghur patients withChinese development dyslexia, this paper discusses the characteristics of languageprocessing skills. Specific include the following four research content:Study I, by using "a minute Chinese word reading " tests assessment3,4and5grade Uyghur children’s Chinese reading level, combined with the teacher’s evaluationand intelligence assessment screening Uyghur who has Chinese development dyslexia,review its Chinese development dyslexia distribution. StudyⅡ, Using the Chinesephonological awareness test and morphological awareness test and the rapid namingtest to exam Uyghur Chinese development dyslexia children’s Chinese languageprocessing skills. The result showed that, development dyslexia children processingskills are significantly behind physiology age group. The nature of backwarddevelopment dyslexia in the second language processing skills, whether is a kind ofcross-linguistic? Thus, the three further inspected the native language processing skillsdevelopment of Uyghurs Chinese development dyslexia. The result showed that,development dyslexia in the Uyghur language processing skills significantly behindwith physiology age group. Study Ⅳ, in order to further proved the relationship ofChinese language processing skills and Uyghur language processing skills, and alsoto study the effect of bilingual language processing skills role in Chinese reading.The correlation analysis shows that, phonological awareness, morphological awarenessand the rapid naming test have across languages related, but orthographic awarenesshas no significant correlation. Bilingual language processing skills has significantrelated with a minute Chinese word reading. Further regression analysis revealed that,bilingual language processing skills can predict the scores of a minutes Chinesereading words, except orthographic awareness. And shows that, through the Chinese phonological awareness and morphological awareness, Uyghur’s phonologicalawareness and morphological awareness role in Chinese reading.Comprehensive above results, the conclusions are as follows:1,3~5grade Uyghur children with existing Chinese dyslexia is at around3%,and similar with the detection rate of native language. There is no significantdifferences between grade, and strong stability. The detection rate of boy isSignificantly higher than girls.2, Chinese developmental dyslexia children exist rapid naming, morphologicalawareness and rapid naming backward, and these skills and Chinese reading all havemoderate related, all can predict Chinese reading level. Language processing defects isone reason of leading some Uyghur children with Chinese reading developmentdyslexia3, The native language of phonological awareness and morphological awarenessfirst influence the Chinese language processing skills, further influence Chinesereading level.
