Clinical Study About The Effect Of Tongqiao Zhitong Pill On Blood-stasis Type Migraine

Objective:To investigate the preventative andtherapeutic effects of tongqiao zhitong Pill, observe effects of blood rheology,beta-endrophin in blood plasma, depression and anxiety on blood-stasis type migraine.Method:Of the patients who were diagnosed as migraine from June 2006 to January 2007 were selected and divided into two groups randomly (group tongqiao zhitong Pill and group Flunarizine),then compared their effect.Results:The total clinical effective rate was 92.5% in group tongqiao zhitong Pill and 82.5% in group Flunarizine. There was significant difference between the two groups (P<0.05).Both groups had a significant increase in mark of headache and Chinese medical syndromes (P<0.01). The increase of group tongqiao zhitong Pill was more significant (P<0.01或P<0.05). After treatment, the whole blood viscosity of group tongqiao zhitong Pill was decrease (P<0.01); tongqiao zhitong Pill can descrease H-BV,PV and significantly than group Flunarizine (P<0.01),but not in L-BV(P>0.05). After treatment, the beta-endrophin in blood plasma significantly increased in group tongqiao zhitong Pill (P<0.01),but not in group Flunarizine (P>0.05).The percentage of migraineurs with depression and anxiety were 69.8% and 53.7% respectively. After treatment, the SAS and SDS significantly decreased in group tongqiao zhitong Pill (P<0.01),but not in group Flunarizine (P>0.05).Conclusion:Tongqiao zhitong Pill is a effective prescription to the patient with blood-stasis type migraine, it can relieve headach, decrease the parameters of blood rheology and the beta-endrophin in blood plasma,furthermore, it also helps relieve emotional disorder accompanying migraine.
