As the endoscopic surgery technology developing, more and more patient choose endoscopic surgery as their primary means of treatment. With the increasing demand for arthroscopy knee surgery, the demand for the proficient doctors who can handle the surgery skillfully is also increasing. Based on the feature of arthroscopic knee surgery, it needed a very high input and very hard to train the specialized personnel.VR technology can solve the problems of training. In the virtual surgery system, Human-Computer Interaction technology act as an important role. With force feedback, user can has the haptic feeling when training, it make the training more realistic and reliable.This paper is a research that based on the application of VR technology. In this paper author design a kind of force feedback interactive device for virtual arthroscopy knee surgery. This article makes analysis and research from the following aspects:(1) Mechanical design of interactive device. Base on the researching of the operation of arthroscopy knee surgery, author propose the performance of design. Scheme out the interactive device and choose the fit component, then process the device.(2) Performance Analysis of the interactive device. Base on the physical construction of the device, used the kinematics theory to analyze it positive solution, and made the mathematical model, then calculated according to the model. According to the principle of force feedback device, researched theory with that the motor of interactive device output the torque and the problem of the motor heating with stall, then put out some measure.(3)Researching of control strategy. Research on common control strategy, choosing the appropriate control strategy of the interactive device, then developed the drive software of the motor.(4)Combining the interactive devices and virtual surgery system, set up the virtual surgery platform.In this paper author completed the research and development of force feedback device which use for the arthroscopic knee surgery simulation. The innovation of this paper is develop an interactive device suitable for knee arthroscopic operation simulation. The research is specificity and practicability.
