Diabetic nephropathy(DN) called diabetic renal glomerulussclerosis,is one of the most important chronic microvascularcomplications,and it seriously affect the patients life quality andlongevity.Now thing seems that the pathogenesis of DN is verycomplex,on the whole,the continuous kidney damage comes to thehyperglycemia of the insulin metabolic disorders,in a certain geneticfactors,acquired risk factors,and a variety of growth factors,cytokinesare activated.Now the key to prevention and control of the early DN isthe treatment of diabetes,control the hypertension,hyperlipidemia,andhigh quality low protein diet.In recent years, new drugs researches haveaimed at DN treatment targets,but still lacking of strong evidence-basedmedicine information.DN didn’t have corresponding name in ancient books.Based onancient literature and combined with the relevant knowledge of modernmedicine and clinical practice, modern physicians put forward ideasabout referring to diabetes which appear complications such as edema,urine turbidity, spit inverse and GuanGe disease as “Xiaoke shenbing” or“xiaokebing shenbing”.Chinese medicine treatment achieved good clinical efficacy with theTCM research.
