| Objective: Colorectal cancer is one of the common malignant tumors. In this study, we detected the expression leves of MYH11ã€a-actinã€OPNã€MMP-9by immunohistochemistry, and further explored the relationshipsamong MYH11ã€a-actinã€OPNã€MMP-9, and clinical pathological features. Methods: The colorectal cancer and matched normal tissues fromtwenty-four patients were collected. Immunohistochemistry staining wasperformed to detect expression levels of MYH11ã€a-actinã€OPNã€MMP-9,respectively.Results:1The expression of MYH11ã€OPNã€MMP-9increases in cancer tissuesImmunohistochemistry indicated that MYH11expression level in cancertissue of95.86%(23/24) of the patients was higher than that in normal tissue(p<0.01). Similarly, OPN expression in75%(18/24) and MMP-9of66.7%(16/24) patients were higher than that in normal tissue (p<0.01). The α-actinexpression level in cancer tissue87.5%(21/24) was less than that in normalcance(rp<0.01). At the same time, expression level of MYH11mRNA (14/21)increased in the cancer tissue.2The correlation of MYH11ã€Î±-actinã€OPNã€MMP-9expression andclinical pathological features of colorectal cancer. The expression level of MYH11〠a-actin〠OPN〠MMP-9has nocorrelation with gender, Dukes stage (Dukes B and Dukes C), invasion depth(T1/T2and T3/T4), lymph metastasis, and tumor sites (colon andrectum)(p>0.05).3The correlation among MYH11ã€Î±-actinã€OPNã€MMP-9expressionThe expression of α-actin and MMP-9had a negative correlation in thesame tissue (p<0.029). Conclusion:1The expression of MYH11, OPN, MMP-9inceases, while α-actinsignificantly reduces in colorectal cancer tissues.2MYH11, α-actin, OPN, MMP-9expression levels were no correlationwith gender, tumor site, invasion depth, lymph node metastasis and pathologystage.3The expression between α-actin and MMP-9has a negative correlationin the same tissue. |
