Endovascular Simple Treatment For Very Small Cerebral Aneurysms With Novel Self-expandable Stent(Enterprise)

Objective: Through retrospective analysis of the clinical histories ofintractable very small cerebral aneurysms treated with novel self-expandablestent (Enterprise Stent) and simple medicine conservative to compare the curerate, the aneurysm again breaking incidence and the satisfaction ratecomparison after treatment both side. To summarize the experience that howto improve the cure rate and the satisfaction rate comparison after treatment，and to reduce the aneurysm again breaking incidence when endovascularsimple treatment for intractable very small cerebral aneurysms with the novelself-expandable stent (Enterprise Stent).Methods:48cases with intractable very small cerebral aneurysms treatedwere recruited from First Affiliated Hospital of Hebei Medical Universitybetween August2003and September2012.27cases were treated with novelself-expandable Enterprise Stent(Hunt＆Hess ClassificationⅠ14，Ⅱ10，Ⅲ3)while21cases were treated with drugs (Hunt＆Hess ClassificationⅠ10，Ⅱ8，Ⅲ3).Statistically contrastive analyze the cure rate the aneurysm againbreaking incidence and the satisfaction rate comparison after treatment bothside.Results:1The cure rate comparison the simple medicine conservative groupobtains a cure rate of38.2%, the novel stent group obtains a cure rate of11.1%,the comparison has the significant difference (χ~2=8.10, P<0.05). Thecomplication incidence of the novel stent group is higher than the rate of thesimple medicine conservative group.2The aneurysm again breaking rate comparison the simple medicineconservative group obtains a aneurysm again breaking rate of91.2%, thenovel stent group obtains a aneurysm again breaking rate of91.2%, the comparison has the significant difference (χ~2=0.005, P>0.05).The aneurysmagain breaking rate of the novel stent group is lower than the rate of the simplemedicine conservative group.3The satisfaction rate comparison after treatment the simple medicineconservative group obtains a satisfaction rate after treatment of38.2%, thenovel stent group obtains a satisfaction rate after treatment of11.1%, thecomparison has the significant difference (χ~2=8.10, P<0.05). The satisfactionrate after treatment of the novel stent group is higherr than the rate of thesimple medicine conservative group.Conclusions:1The aneurysm again breaking rate can be reducedand the cure rate andthe satisfaction of the aneurysm in cure can be improved through treatment forintractable very small cerebral aneurysms with the novel self-expandable stent(Enterprise Stent).2The endovascular simple treatment for intractable very small cerebralaneurysms with the novel self-expandable stent (Enterprise Stent) is a safeeffective and advanced therapy.
