Objective:With the morbidity rising day by day, Hypertension hasbecoming a common cardiovascular disease which is seriously harmful topeople’s health at recent, It’s clinical feature is a syndrome mainly withelevation of blood pressure.Advanced hypertension can cause the main target organ of heart, kidney, brain and other organic and functional damage, which has high mortality, morbidity, is one of the main diseases in the elderly population, and one ofthe problem clinicians need to constantly strive to solve. The subject aims at verifying the clinical curative effect of Tiantengantihy-pertensive decoction treating Essential hypertention (Hyperactivityof liver, deficiency of liver and kidney)and clears its mechanism.Method:60Patients were divided into two groups at random accordingto the single blind law. No statistically significant difference (gender, age, course of disease) between the two groups in general. Control group and thetreatment group, which were given Levoamlodipine Maleate Tablets (xuanning, Nolato Group the Italian Pharmaceutical, Ltd, the Chinese medicineH20030690approved by the State),2.5mg every time, once daily orally,Levoamlodipine maleate tablets(2.5mg every time, once daily orally andTianteng antihypertensive decoctiona dose daily, divided two times atmorning and night decocted orally)respectively. The patients in treatmentgroup and the control group are all diagnosed of hypertention by westernmedicine and also have syndromes of Hyperactivity of liver, deficiency ofliver and kidney by Chinese Medicine. Four weeks as curative period, duringwhich all patients stop taking the drugs that have the effect on blood pressure. The blood Pressure, bloodsugar bloodiPid, Plasma endothelin and signsbefore and after treatment were determined to appraise the clinical curative effect of Tianteng antihypertensive decoction.Results:1Improvement in dynamic blood pressure: in treatment group, thesystolic and diastolic blood pressure were lower after treatment, and thedifference was significant (P <0.05).In control group, the systolic have obvious difference after treatment(P<0.05), diastolic blood pressure have obvious difference after treatment(P <0.05).After the same treatment period, the treatment group and the controlgroup have significant difference (P <0.05) between them with systolic anddiastolic blood pressure. It shows that the treatment group blood pressure continuously, steadilydecline, and the decline was greater than the control group. It shows that Joint application of Tianteng antihypertensive decoctionand levoamlodipine maleate tablets have better antihypertensive effect thanlevoamlodipine maleate tablets alone.2Compare the improvement of bloodipad of two groups aftertreatment, the treatment group have obviously reduce on cholesterol, triglyceride and low density lipoprotein, the most obvious change happen incholesterol(P <0.01);The control group after treatment compared withbefore treatment, the indicators have a certain change, but no significantdifference on statistics. It shows that Joint application of traditional Chinese medicine andwestern medicine will be better able to improve the bloodipad than usingwestern medicine alone.3In the respect of the improvement of bloodsuger of two groups aftertreatment, we can find the treatment group superior to control group (P<0.05).and the results of the treatment were obvious (P <0.01). It shows thatin the treatment of bloodsuger the treatment group that usingTianteng antihypertensive decoction have better effect than the control groupthat using levoamlodipine maleate tablets alone. 4In the respect of the improvement of Plasma endothelin of two groupsafter treatment,we can find the treatment group better t control group (P<0.05). It shows that control group with Tianteng antihypertensive decoctionhave better curative effect on Plasma endothelin than using Westernmedicine alone.5Improvement in symptoms in the treatment group: excellence20cases,effective8cases, invalid2cases, the total efficiency of93.34%.Improvement in symptoms in the control group: excellence9cases,effective13cases, invalid8cases, the total efficiency of73.33%.The total effective rate in treatment group is higher than in the controlgroup (P <0.05).6In the respect of Adverse reactionWith1case in30patients in the treatment group have mild diarrheaafter taking the decoction, the patient did not stop taking the decoction, thesymptoms disappeared after one day. There are3cases in30patients appearankle edema.Conclusions:1Tianteng antihypertensive decoction has obvious therapeutic effect onhypertension with deficiency of liver and kidney, hyperactivity of liver.2It shows that control group with Tianteng antihypertensive decoctioncan significantly improve the blood pressure of the patients with essentialhypertension. Compared with control group, the treatment group has bettereffect, the effect of lowering blood pressure can be sustained, stable.3Mechanism of Tianteng antihypertensive decoction on blood pressuremay be achieved through improving the serum lipid levels, reducing thedisorder of lipid metabolism, promoting blood glucose metabolism, reducingblood sugar, and improvement of plasma endothelin and other factors. thesefactors have a positive role in control of incidence, development ofhypertension and incidence of complications.
