Cervical cancer is common in the female genital tract malignant tumors, and the incidence of which is second only to that of breast cancer among women worldwide, making it the second-most serious cancer threatening the health and lives of women. Surgery, the development of which has a history of more than one hundred years, is an important traditional way to treat cervical cancer. Among the diverse surgical procedures of curing cervical cancer, the classic radical abdominal hysterectomy and pelvic lymphadenectomy in use for many years is still playing the dominant role.With the rapid development of modern medicine in recent years, more and more technology and facilities are introduced, the surgical ways of cervical cancer have changed a lot as well. The introduction of preserving fertility function, endocrine function and pelvic nerve surgery and so on, strengthens the individualization concept of cervical cancer surgery in practice, and produces a good application prospect. The appearance of assistive technology such as laparoscopic and robotic surgery, further promote the innovation of cervical cancer surgery. In this paper, the different ways of operation application in cervical cancer treatment is discussed to make a comparison, and the development direction of cervical cancer surgery is forcasted as well.
