[Objective] To study the relationship between serum homocysteine(HCY) and adiponectin(APN) levels in cardiac neurosis(CN) which will play an importent role in the further diagnosis and treatment of CN.[Methods] All of the subjects investigated were from our hospital.29patients diagnosed with CN were composed of14males and15females,the average age of whom were54.40±9.77,30patients diagnosed with coronary heart disease (CHD) were composed of15males and15females,the average age of whom were57.80±9.57,29health examinationers were composed of13males and16females,the average age of whom were55.30±9.56.Take5ml of peripheral venous blood and get the serum specimen.HCY and APN levels were measured by ELISA in29patients of CN,30patients of CHD and29normal controls.Datas were analysed by SPSS17.0.Measurem-ent datas were used by (x±s).Multiple groups were compared by variance analysis, and p <0.05for the difference had statistical significance.[Result] HCY in CN,CHD patients and normal controls were (19.17±4.22)nmol/ml、(22.86±4.84)nmol/ml and (11.73±3.01)nmol/ml respectively (all P<0.05),APN in CN,CHD patients and normal controls were (9.88±1.67)mg/L、(8.64±1.41)mg/L and (11.11±1.88)mg/L respectively (all P<0.05).In the all cases, HCY level was negatively correlated with APN level(r=-0.413,P<0.01).[Conclusions] High HCY is increased and APN is decreased in patients of CN.High HCY and and low APN may be associated with CN,which has guiding significance for the diagnosis and treatment of CN.
