| Objective:The purpose of this study was to observe the effect ofQiliqiangxin capsule on life quality of patients with chronic heartfailure, syndrome effect, pro-BNP, left ventricular ejectionfraction index，and to explore its mechanism from the aspects oftheory, provide scientific basis,to provide a new way to improveclinical efficacy of chronic heart failure. Methods:In2012May-2013year in March in accordance with the standard(American Heart Association standards,"traditional Chinesemedicine new medicine clinical research guiding principle" of"traditional Chinese medicine treatment for heart failure clinicalresearch guiding principle" diagnostic standards) in HubeiProvincial Traditional Chinese Medical Hospital ward andoutpatient chronic heart failure patients with a total of60cases,were randomly divided into the conventional treatmentcontrol group and on the basis of added Qiliqiangxin capsuletreatment group with30cases in each, the control group usingroutine western medicine in the treatment of cardiovascular diseasein chronic heart failure (conventional angiotensin convertingenzyme inhibitor (ACEI) or angiotensin II receptor blocker (ARB),βreceptor blockers, and aldosterone antagonists, with or without digitalis, loop diuretic agents, vasodilator etc.),The treatmentgroup in the control group treated, while giving the Qiliqiangxincapsule,3/day,4/time,the two groups were treated for3months,such indexes were observed before and after the treatmentrespectively in Minnesota quality of life questionnaire, heartfailure Lee’s score, TCM syndrome integral, the level of pro-BNP,left ventricular ejection fraction (LVEF), the calculation of twogroups before treatment and after treatment change and differenceindex, statistical analysis.Results:Through statistical analysis, two groups of patients with heartfailure compared with no significant differences in age, sex,primary diseases, heart function, disease course and TCM syndrometype (P>0.05),in two groups after the treatment, the Minnesotaliving with heart failure treatment questionnaire scores was significantly decreased, and the treatment group than in controlgroup significantly decreased (P<0.05).The two groups aftertreatment than before treatment Lee score decreased significantly(P<0.01), and the treatment group than in the control group, Leescore decreased obviously (P<0.05).In two groups after thetreatment, symptom scores than before treatment were significantlydecreased (P<0.01), and the treatment group than in the controlgroup, TCM syndrome score decreased obviously (P<0.05).The levelof pro-BNP in two groups after treatment than before treatment weresignificantly decreased (P<0.01), and the treatment group than inthe control group, the level of pro-BNP decreased obviously(P<0.05).Two groups of left ventricular ejection fraction (LVEF)after treatment than before treatment were improved significantly(P<0.01), and the treatment group than in the control group, theleft ventricular ejection fraction (LVEF) increased significantly (P<0.05).Two groups of patients were successfully completed theexperiment, there were no cases of serious adverse reactions dueto interruption of treatment before and after the treatment, theblood routine, urine routine, stool routine, liver and kidneyfunction, electrocardiogram and laboratory examination, resultsshowed that, during the period of treatment, these indexes were inthe normal range, there were no obvious abnormal changes, seriousadverse reactions in patients.Conclusion:Qiliqiangxin capsule combined with western medicine in thetreatment of heart failure can significantly improve the qualityof life of patients, reduce the Lee’s integral and TCM syndromeintegral, decrease the level of pro-BNP and improve leftventricular ejection fraction. And there were no adverse reactions.Therefore, we can say it is a safe and effective traditional Chinese medicine preparation for the treatment of heart failure. |
