Clinical Research And Experimental Investigation Of Traditional Chinese Medicine Through High Enema On Chronic Functional Constipation

Objective: To observe the curative effect of the high enema of TongfuRenchang Decoction on the patients with chronic functional constipation andthe influence on SD rats with constipation.Method： In clinical research,60patients with chronic functionalconstipation patients were randomly divided into experimental group、controlgroup1、 control group2.300ml of Tongfu Renchang decoction be inject totransverse colon of the patients who in experimental group by high enemaapparatus before he went to bed at night. The patients who in Control group1take Sulfate-free Polyethylene Glycol Eletrolyte Powder (A+B) orally, twicea day. The patients who in control group2take the Mosapride orally, threetimes a day. A course of the treatment comprised by a month of treatment,and then stopped a week, and then a month of treatment in-sequence. Observethe therapeutic effect and the change of anorectal manometry of three groupsafter treatment. In animal experiments, after the success of the copy ofconstipation model, observe Tongfu Renchang decoction, Sulfate-freePolyethylene Glycol Eletrolyte Powder and Mosapride’s therapeutic effectrespectively.Result: In the clinical study, the immediate total effective rate was84.2%, the long-term total effective rate was78.9%in the experimental group,which was83.3%and72.2%in control group1respectively. The immediatetotal effective rate was77.8%, the long-term total effective rate was55.6%in control group2. In terms of anorectal manometry, the change of analsphincter function and the change of rectum function has no obviousdifference (P>0.05), however in the respect of rectal sensation volume, thetreatment group compare with control group2, the initial feeling of capacityhas significant difference (P<0.05), between the control group1and controlgroup2, the initial feeling of capacity had significant difference (P<0.05)too，when the treatment is completed three months. The anal canal restpressure in treatment group and control group1and control group2of has nosignificant difference(P>0.05). Compare the treatment group with controlgroup1and control group2, the coughing anal canal pressure has significantdifferences(P<0.05). The anal contraction pressure has significantdifference(P<0.05) between the treatment group and the control group2.Compare control group2with treatment group and control group1the initialfeeling capacity of rectum has the remarkable difference(P<0.05). Comparetreatment group with control group2RAIR values have significant difference(P<0.05). In animal experiment, the excreting time of black feces、the shitgrain number in24hours and the wet weight of stools in24hours hassignificant difference(P<0.05) between Mosapride group with Sulfate-freePolyethylene Glycol Eletrolyte Powder and Chinese traditional medicinegroup, however compare the Chinese medicine group with the polyethyleneglycol electrolyte powder group which has no obvious difference.Conclusion: High enema treatment of traditional Chinese medicineTongfu Renchang decoction is an effective method for treating chronicfunctional constipation, no matter in the recent curative effect or in the longterm curative effect has no obvious difference compared with polyethyleneglycol electrolyte powder, which is superior to Mosapride.
