Objective:To study the expression of BMP-7and TGF-β1in keloid, normal scar and normal skin. Explore the role of BMP-7and TGF-β1in the formation of keloid.Methods:52cases of clinical samples, divided into the keloid group (n=17),the normal scar group (n=19)and normal skin (n=16).After paraffin imbedding, cutting and staining, immunohistochemical method(SP method) was used for detect the expression of BMP-7and TGF-β1in each section. To analyze BMP-7and TGF-β1expression differences in the three groups and correlation. All statistical analyses were performed by using SPSS18.0.Results:①The positive expression rates of BMP-7are17.6%in the keloid group,63.2%in the normal scar group and81.3%in normal skin group. The expression level of BMP-7in keloid group was significant difference in comparison with normal skin group (P<0.01). The expression level of BMP-7in keloid group was significant difference in comparison with normal scar group (P<0.01).BMP-7was no significant difference in the expression level of the normal scar group and normal skin (P>0.05).②The positive expression of TGF-β1was94.1%in the keloid group,52.6%in the normal scar group and6.3%in normal skin group. The expression level of TGF-β1in keloid group was significant difference in comparison with normal skin group (P<0.01). The expression level of TGF-β1in keloid group was significant difference in comparison with normal scar group (P<0.01). The expression level of TGF-β1in normal scar group was significant difference in comparison with normal skin group (P<0.05).③BMP-7and TGF-β1expression in keloid group has a negative correlation (P<0.01,R=-0.681).Conclusions:①Low expression of BMP-7in keloid.②High expression of TGF-β1in keloid.③BMP-7and TGF-B1expression in keloid group has a negative correlation.
