Objective:To analyze the possible risk factors of the intracranial andextracranial artery stenosis in youth patient with cerebral infarctionby cerebrovascular examination, medical history and blood testresults. Methods:Collected youth cases of patients with cerebral infarction whowere be treated in the second hospital of Jilin university fromJanuary2009to November2012. Questioned the patients themselvesand their families, with the medical history, family history, checkingtests of hematology, cerebrovascular examination and othernecessary auxiliary examination.135cases were selected in total.Cerebrovascular examination including:Transcranial color Doppler(TCD), Color Doppler Flow Imaging (CDFI), Computerizedtomography angiography (CTA). according to the presence ofstenosis divided into stenosis group and non stenosis group, gettingthe statistical analysis of the possible risk factors. Results:In the135cases of youth patients with cerebral infarction, female50cases (37%), male85cases (63%); The unstenosis groupwere44cases, stenosis group were91cases,take a67.41percent;The pure intracranial artery stenosis included36cases (39.56%),only extracranial artery stenosis were23cases (25.27%), Bothintracranial and extracranial artery stenosis were32cases (35.16%);The incidence of intracranial artery stenosis was74.73%, and theincidence of extracranial artery stenosis was60.44%in total; Therisk factors for stenosis groups to the other group were the result ofmen, smoking, drinking, hypertension, diabetes, high uric acid, highLDL-c,low HDL, high TC, high TG,high apolipoprotein A andapolipoprotein B, and high lipoprotein a.They were associated withboth the intracranial and extracranial artery stenosis, might be thepossible risk factors.Conclusions:1.The intracranial and extracranial artery stenosis is the riskfactor of cerebral infarction in youth patients. The incidence is67.41%.2.Men, smoking, drinking, hypertension, diabetes, high uricacid, high LDL-c,low HDL, high TC, high TG,high apolipoprotein Aand apolipoprotein B, and high lipoprotein a and so on,the factoesabove are related to the artery stenosis.
