CT examination or review of109cases of hypoxic-ischemic encephalopathy (HIE) in neonates to explore the diagnostic value of CT in neonates with HIE, and indexing the prognosis relationshipMethods:the CT examination were performed in109cases (mild group61cases, moderate group35cases, and severe group13cases) of neonates with apneic hypoxia history which diagnosed by clinical. The initial CT scanning was5hours to15days after birth. And the CT image grading standards were divided into mild, moderate and severe degree. and including76cases were performed CT re-examination within1-6month after birth.[Results]:①109HIE neonates showed different degrees of crebral edema symptoms through CT plain film scanning, CT values between8~18Hu.66cases were diagnosed as mild HIE.31cases were diagnosed as moderate HIE with9cases of in-tracranial hemorrhage (ICH).12cases were diagnosed as severe HIE with7cases o f in-tracranial hemorrhage. Finally, clinical grading and CT indexing data were compared by statistical methods, and the result showed that r=0.775,(P <0.01). Furthermore, there is a closely correlation between clinical grading and CT grading.②Follow-up review:last CT reviews showed,45cases were normal,13cases were simple deepened sulcus,7cases were subdural collection of fluid,7cases were encephalomalacia,3cases were hydrocephalus,3cases were cerebral atrophy, one case was death. Conclusion:CT scan is the primary method of diagnosis in HIE, it can precisely displayed lesions and scope, and it can be determined that if there was complicated with intracranial hemorrhage and which type of hemorrhage. The data should be a very important basis for diagnose and the treatment, Moreover, it have better reviews values of brain injury severity and prognosis of HIE.
