Objective:To investigate level of survivin and caspase-3in human colorectal cancer and relationship of the two,and more realationship of clinicopathological characteristics. Methods:We sensed mRNA of survivin and caspase-3in60human colorectal cancer tissue and40adjacent normal colorectal tissue with RT-PCR.Results:The expressive levels of survivin in60colorectal cancer samples raised obviously, but we observed nothing in adjacent normal colorectal tissue. The expression of survivin showed no significant relationship to the sex of patients,as the same as the size, location and tissue differentiation grade of cancers, but closely related to Dukes stage and presence or absence of metastasis in lymph node.Caspase-3just related to the differentiation grade of cancers. Conclusions:Survivin and caspase-3has changed in colorectal compared with comparison. And closely related to the some characteristics of cacer.such as Dukes stage, metastasis in lymph node and differentiation.so we can concluded that survivin might play an ortant role in chappow, and caspase-3 might have something to do with malignant stage. Thus we can get some messages of patients by testing it.
