Objective: This article aims to reveal the distribution, causes, treatment andinfluences etc of exercise-induced insomnia,and the differences among exercise-inducedinsomnia, anxiety, and depression from different gender,grade,group and sport throughinvestigation and analysis,so as to avoid exercise-induced insomnia, anxiety, anddepression happening, improve athletes’ sleep and training quality, promote the body’srecovery,and keep them in good shape.Methods:This paper adopted these methods such as documents and materials,investigation of the questionnaire,expert’s interview and mathematics and physicsstatistic and so on to investigate and analyse the exercise-induced insomnia, anxiety, anddepression for420athletics(210females and210males) from Shan Dong and Zhe Jiangprovince.The total sports in the investigation refer to13programs of7item-groups.Results:(1)PSQI≥8accounted for56%of the total number of athletes.SRSS≥23accounted for50.7%,SAS≥50accounted for30.2%,SDS≥53accounted for30.2%.Withdifferent quality of sleep, depression and anxiety have significant difference(P <0.01).(2)The total score of PSQI, SRSS, SAS and SDS were into significant positivecorrelation (P <0.01).(3)Exercise-induced insomnia occurs all sports in the survey,theoverall rate is56%,50.5%in men,61.4%in women.Insomnia occurs frequently duringdaily training and after big load training.The main psychological factors which lead toexercise-induced insomnia are temporary setbacks, emotional depression,excessivethought and anxiety, and emotion nervous before or during the game.The influences ofexercise-induced insomnia are physical fatigue,negative emotions and physical functiondecline.Exercise-induced insomnia only cause half of the athletes’ attention who dependmainly on massage and psychological therapy to improve sleep,but the effect is notobvious.(4)The total score of PSQI and SRSS are significantly lower than males,while SAS and SDS are higher(P <0.01).The score of these two factors,the sleep quality andsleep disorders, exist significant differences between females and males.(5)The totalscore of PSQI and SRSS between outstanding athletes and level1athletes,and betweenoutstanding athletes and level2athletes have significant difference, but the total scoreof SAS and SDS have no significant differences.(6)The fighting item-group get thehighest score of PSQI、SRSS、SAS and SDS,and performance-accurate group get thelowest score of SRSS、 SAS and SDS.The scores of SRSS among endurance,performance-accurate and fast power group are low,their gap is less than onepoint.(7)Shoot, badminton and throwing athletes’ sleep quality are relatively good,judoathletes is the worst. Judo, volleyball players have serious anxiety and depression,shooting players are the best.Conclusion:(1)Compared with the rate of exercise-induced insomnia,female islarger than male.The highest rate of insomnia in group is combat,performance difficultand beautiful,and speed,and performance-accurate group to the lowest.The higher gradethe lower quality of sleep.(2)Sleep quality and anxiety, depression are significantlyrelated.(3)Insomnia occurs frequently during daily training and after big loadtraining;Stress, anxiety and depression can lead to insomnia who has significanteffects.Insomnia treatments are simple, and the effect is not obvious.(4)The level ofanxiety and depression of females athletes are significantly higher than males’.(5)Thedifferences between anxiety and depression in group is not the changes of trend but therange:the fight item-group get the highest score, while performance-accurate group getthe lowest one.(6)The sports with high levels of anxiety and depression areJudo,volleyball and badminton.Shooting is in the last place;Although badminton playershave good sleep, they still get high score of depression and anxiety.
