Chronic obstructive pulmonary disease(COPD),a kind of slowlyprogressive disease,is one of the common chronic respiratory diseases, and is charactered with non-fully reversible airflow obstruction. COPD isthe secondary non-infectious chronic diseases all over the world. The relationship between periodontitis and systemic diseases hadbeen threatened people’s attentions. The research about periodontitis havebeen beyond the local infection to the influence of bodies, includingdiabetic, cardiovascular diseases, digestive diseases, respiratory diseasesand so on.The relationship with COPD has been improved byepidemiological analysis in which COPD patients had higher frequencyand severity of periodontal disease than respiratory disease-freepopulations. Although most scholars affirmed the reaction of periodontitisand COPD,but the mechanism was unknown。Object:Ensure the reaction of COPD and periodontitis by detecting serumPg-IgG antibody titers, serum CRP levels and serum IL-6levels。Method:Randomly select COPD patients of respiratory department inSecondary hospital of Jilin university from June2012to December2012. The total number was43,including25male cases and18female cases。According to the age and gender of COPD,randomly select40casesconsisting of21male cases and19female cases from health checkuppeople that had no periodontal treatment in recent6months, no medicinetreatment with antibiotics and anticoagulant drugs in recent6months, nosever infection, no infectious diseases, no diabetic, no coronary heartdiseases, no tumor, no sever hepatic or renal dysfunction orhypertension。Detecting serum Pg-IgG antibody titer, serum IL-6levelsand serum CRP levels of COPD and health controls by double-antiELISA and indirect ELISA。Analyzing the data。Result:1)The serum Pg-IgG antibody titers and positive rate were higherthan ones of health control;2)Pg-IgG antibody positive COPD patients had higher serum CRPand higher IL-6than negative COPD ones, but the levels of both positiveand negative were higher than health control;3)There’s correlation between serum Pg-IgG antibody titers andlevels of serum CRP and IL-6。Conclusion:1.COPD patients had higher spread degree of periodontitis bacteria inbody than health control; 2.Periodontitis bacteria may stimulate the levels of serum CRP andIL-6in COPD patients;3.There’s positive correlation between serum Pg-IgG antibody titersand levels of serum CRP and IL-6in COPD patients。We inferred thatperiodontitis could promote the progression of COPD by upregulatinglevels of serum CRP and IL-6.
