Objective:1. Analysis the status of clinical nurses with PLBP, and use the statistical index to describethe incidence of clinical nursing personnel with PLBP.2. Investigate the possible factors related to the general situation and the working conditionof nursing staff with PLBP, and provide a theoretical basis for nursing management morescientific and effective intervention measures.3. Understanding the influence of PLBP on nurse job and life, increase the degree ofattention to improve the related personnel with PLBP.Methods: This study apply a cross-sectional study to investigate three big hospitals inChangchun city, including5clinical department system: internal medicine departemnt,surgical department, pediatric clinic, and operation room. Survey questionnaire wererandomly given to the nursing staffs. The questionnaire including general condition, workingcondition, RMDQ and ODI scale questionnaire. The results of the survey was statisticanalysised with SPSS16.0software, the test level is0.05. All tests were two-sided tesst.1. In general, investigate general condition and working conditions of clinical nursing staffswith PLBP: the first application of descriptive statistical indicators were first used, such asmean, standard deviation, the rate and the proportion of respondents statistical description andanalysis the prevalence of PLBP.2. Using Binary logistics regression to analysis the related factors of general situation withthe prevalence of PLBP: including age, length of service, professional title, height, weight,marital status, household chores.3. Using Binary logistics regression to analysis the related factors of working conditionswith the prevalence of PLBP: including the department,monthly night shift, weeklynumbers of carrying patients and daily numbers of bending times.4. Using RMDQ and ODI scale to show the severity of PLBP of nursing staff.Results:1.344nurses were surveyed, and completed the questionnaire. The average age was29.47 ±6.35years, of which a minimum age of22years, the maximum age of55years, the meanage was29years old. The number of nursing stuffs with PLBP in1years was188, theprevalence rate was54.65%.2. the prevelance of PLBP and nursing staffs general conditions:Using Binary logistics regression analysis shows that age, marriage status and bear thehousework had the obvious influence on PLBP(P<0.05). Another influence factor is marragestatus and the length of employed.3. the incidents rate of PLBP and nursing staffs working conditions:Using Binary logistics regression analysis shows moving and handling times and thedepartment are the second influenced factors(P<0.05) followed by weekly bendingtimes(P<0.01).4. The severity of PLBP among nursing staffs.RMDQ and ODI questionnaire were used to investigate the severity of PLBP amongnursing staffs show that there was positive correlation between PLBP severity and the RMDQand ODI.Conclusion:1. There was highe PLBP incidence among clinical nursing staffs. Of wich the incidentrates is54.65%.2. Bearing housework had the most importment influence on PLBP(P<0.01) amongnursing staffs`general influence status, Following is marrage status and the length ofemployed(P<0.05).3. Bending times had the greatest influence on PLBP(P<0.01) among nursing staffs`influent clinical practice. Moving and handling times and the department are thesecondly(P<0.05).4. PLBP is not serious among most clinical nursing staffs, but still need more specialtrainings in such area to prevent PLBP.
