Backgroud:Along with the modern medical development, the more elderly patientscould recept the operations, which are less trauma, quicker recovery, lesspostoperative complications of laparoscopic surgical to treat abdominaldiseases. Because of elderly patients with multiple organ viscera levels aresignificantly reduced, with heart and lung function decline, brought about bythe negative effect is most serious. Therefore, for elderly patients, pulmonaryfunction test is necessary. Through the pulmonary function monitoringtechnology continues to progress, but through a variety of methods to evaluatethe pulmonary function in patients. At present, with large combined lungfunction apparatus and adopt the corresponding instrument with the standardexpected value of pulmonary function of the main detection methods. Forpreoperative pulmonary function monitoring exists dysfunction in elderlypatients, intraoperative and postoperative appear significantly increased the riskof pulmonary complications related to, or even life-threatening. Therefore, preoperative lung function measurement and improved preoperative pulmonaryfunction helps reduce the postoperative pulmonary complications related to further smooth for elderly patients with postoperative recovery.Objective:1.To evaluate the effect of blowing balloons to pulmonary function on theelderly patients with laparoscopic operation within a short period of time.2.To research the influence of blowing balloons to pulmonary function onthe elderly patients with laparoscopic operation on the pulmonarycomplications of patients after operation.3.To explore a simple, economical, fast and effective method to improvethe respiratory function for preoperative elderly patients by Blowing Balloons. Methods:A total of38patients in jilin province hospital colorectal-anus surgerycheduled for laparoscopic surgery, aged(≥60years) were selected to have aprospective study, which were measured the oxygen saturation and arterialpartial pressure of oxygen, pulmonary function assessment and comparedbefore and after the Blowing Balloons method, while observing the situationof expectoration, the postoperative pulmonary complications and data analysiscomparison。Results:There were differences in aspects of respiratory frequency, oxygensaturation, arterial blood oxygen pressure and lung function before and after respiratory training method of blowing balloons, with statistically significant(P<0.05),35patients were all successfully in expectoration, without pulmonarycomplications. Conclusions:The method of blowing balloons is a cheap, easy and effective way whichcan enhance preoperative respiratory function and decrease perioperative riskin elderly patients.
