Objective:To explore the relationship between traditional Chinese medicine(TCM) syndromes and renal pathology. and then seek for the pathologic basis and microcosmic nature of TCM syndromes, which objective to provide some reference for TCM differentiation.Method:160cases with PNS by the TCM sysdromes were selected strictly from Hospital, collected four diagnostic date of TCM before Kidney biopsy puncture, one to three days, and then recorded renal Pathology and analysed those data and discussed the distribution relationship between TCM syndromes and clinical manifestation, renal pathology in patients with PNS.Result:1PNS patients71.2%were male and women accounted for22.8%,the male to female ratio (2.49:1),TCM syndromes gender composition between different in five groups was statistically significance(p<0.01).TCM syndromes gender composition of Feng-Shui flood syndromes and spleen-kidney-yang deficiency were different as well as damp-heat syndromes and spleen-kidney-yang deficiency. There were statistically significance (p<0.05). TCM syndromes gender composition of liver-kidney-yin deficiency and Shen-luo blood stasis were different as well as spleen-kidney-yang deficiency and Shen-luo blood stasis. There were statistically significance (p<0.05). Gender composition was not significant difference between the6types of renal Pathology (p>0.05)2The mean age was37.69±16.98years old.The age structure of TCM syndromes was not statistically significant(p<0.05).The age composition was significant differences in various pathological type group(p<0.05).The minimum of age constitute(32.48±18.30years old) was in the MsPGN group, and the maximum(49.14±16.88years old) was in the FSGS group. There were statistically significance between FSGS group and the other groups(p<0.05) and no statistically significance among the other groups(p>0.05).3TCM syndromes between the the immunosuppressant group used and unused were not statistically significance.(p>0.05)4The duration of three months is more common among goups of Feng-Shui flood syndromes, damp-heat syndromes and Shen-luo blood stasis. There were three months to one year between goup of pleen-kidney-yang and liver-kidney-yin deficiency. The correlation between TCM syndromes and course of disease had statistically significance(p<0.05),not closely correlation(γp=0.302).5Among160cases with PNS,TCM syndromes,70cases(43.8%) were Feng-Shui flood syndromes, which was the most common,and49cases(30.6%) with damp-heat syndromes,20cases(12.5%) with pleen-kidney-yang deficiency,9cases (5.6%) with Shen-luo blood stasis.membranous nephropathy(MN) was the most common type in renal pathology, there were71cases(44.4%) and29cases (18.8%) presented as mesangial proliferative glomerulonePhritis (MsPGN),23cases (14.4%) manifested minimal change disease(MCD) and21cases (13.1%) presented as IgA nephropath14cases (11.97%) presented as Focal Segmental Glomerulosclerosis(FSGS),2cases (0.13%) were Mesangial CaPillary GlomerulonePhritis and Crescentic glomerulonePhritis. The correlation between renal Pathology and TCM syndromes, had significance.(p<0.05),not closely correlation(γp=0.441).Pathological types constitute in Feng-Shui flood syndromes group was statistically significance(p<0.01),there was not tatistically significance among other groups.6The correlation between TCM syndromes and MN stages in patients with PNS had statistically significance(p<0.05),not closely correlation(γp=0.446).MsPGN degrees had not statistical significance.Conclusion:1PNS disease was more common in men, the male to female ratio (2.49:1), mainly in young and middle-aged, mean age was37.69±16.98years old.2TCM syndromes gender composition between different in five groups was statistically significance, not significant difference between the6types of renal pathology. The groups of Feng-Shui flood syndromes,damp-heat syndromes and Shen-luo blood stasis were more common in men3TCM syndromes between the the immunosuppressant group used and unused were not statistically significance.4The correlation between TCM syndromes and course of disease had statistically significance(p<0.05),not closely correlation(γp=0.302).5The correlating between renal Pathology and TCM syndromes had significance, not closely correlation Pathological types constitute in Feng-Shui flood syndromes Group was statistically significance. The correlation between TCM syndromes and MN stages in Patients with PNS had significance, not closely correlation.MsPGN degrees had not statistical significance.
