Spine is the axis of the body, its main role is to support the weight, transfer ofgravity.The experiment proved that the spinal column lumbar vertebra L3-L4intervertebral disc’s load has80kilograms strength when cough,the reason that thespinal column can withstand the weight that close to human body is that the spinalcolumn has the physiology to be curving;By the principles of mechanics,the dampingof arc column is equal to the square of arcs plus one,the damping coefficients of adultbending spine10times at the spine when upright;Therefore,the curvature of the spinehas a very important influence on the human body when withstand pressure and outsideimpact force.The related anatomy literature had indicated that the spinal column’s thoracicvertebra lower segment and lumbar vertebra section display for forward curving whenhuman stand. Analyzing the X light picture of the volunteer chest lumbar vertebraunder driving sitting posture, confirmed that the volunteers thoracic vertebra lowersegment and the lumbar vertebra section still displayed for forward curving whensitting,this is opposite to the Hybrid Ⅲ50th frontage collision dummy’s lumbarvertebra curving direction that widely applied in auto safety collision domain, thedamping coefficients of Hybrid Ⅲ50th frontage collision dummy is only7times at thespine when upright.In order to study the influence that the thoracic vertebra lower segment and thelumbar vertebra section different curving direction brings to Hybrid Ⅲ50th frontagecollision dummys dynamic response and the damage parameter, by using theknowledge of vehicles man-machine engineering in the paper, driving testing cabinwhich satisfies the comfortable request of Chinese human body10Percentile to95Percentile volunteers sitting posture was built, shape phantom materials of fourdifferent height volunteers thoracic vertebra lower segment and the lumbar vertebrasection was gained by using X light illumination,the research indicated that Fourvolunteers thoracic vertebra lower segment and the lumbar vertebra section presentdifferent curvature forward curving, this phenomenon adapts in the major part ofheight Chinese.Take95Percentile ’s Chinese masculine volunteer X light phantom pictures as the foundations, and unifies the chest lumbar vertebra section damage biology mechanicsand the knowledge of Hybrid Ⅲ50th stuffed dummy designs,this paper has done thefollowing job:(1) make modification to the finite element model of Hybrid Ⅲ50thdummy lumbar vertebra section that was built by LSTC Corporation;(2)Establish thepilot sidecar body finite element model of some domestic vehicle,(3)carry on theconfirmation to the finite element model After and before the improvement, and makesthe simulation separately under the same condition, the simulation findings indicated:Around improvement stuffed dummy forehead X direction acceleration, hipbone Xdirection acceleration, the left thigh strength,the safety belt pectoral girdle strength,thewaistband strength damage parameter of the stuffed dummy is basic consistent withimprovement’s curve photograph;the stuffed dummy chest3ms value reduced15.2%after revising the lumbar vertebra, the chest compression quantity reduced20%, thelumbar vertebra after revision has tallied with the actual change situation of themovement physiology characteristic of the lumbar vertebra when human body bent thewaist;(4)By using the test principle of orthogonal,obtain that the Hybrid Ⅲ50thstuffed dummy spinal column has the ability of withstanding bigger impact load afterimprovement.The research indicated: Not only the existing Hybrid Ⅲ50th dummy lumbarvertebra section does not conform to the anatomy curving structure,the dynamicresponse process of forward curving is also counteracts with the actual physiologicalcharacteristic of the human body normally bending the waist,the ability of the HybridⅢ50th dummy lumbar vertebra section withstanding impact load is reduced, theHybrid Ⅲ50th dummy lumbar vertebra section exists inaccuracy...
