Objective To discuss the clinical features, diagnosis and treatment of intracranial hemangiopericytoma.Method2case was selected from the files of the Department of Ontology, Medical College of Shandong University in2010-2012. Combined with other5cases selected from literature, there were altogether7cases collected and their clinical data were analyzed retrospectively.Results Median age was45.1years old,age range from6-65years old,83.3%of patients were older than40years old. The tumor was mainly in convexity brain, sagittal sinus, tentorium of cerebellum.The main clinical manifestation were headache, dizzy, vomit.71.4%of patients had symptoms of headache,dizzy.Used immunohistochemical indicators are:Vimentin,CD34,EMA.Positive rate of Vimentin and CD34were100%,EMA was negative. All patients were treated with surgical operation. There were3cases of adjuvant radiotherapy.Conclusion Intracranial hemangiopericytoma has no special clinical manifestations.Preoperative diagnosis is difficult,and the diagnosis can be confirmed by pathology.Surgery is the main method of treatment of this disease.Adjuvant radiotherapy has been most scholars agree. Chemotherapy is not show obvious benefit.
