The Study On Demand Of Elderly Health Services In Shijiazhuang Of Hebei Province

The aging population in China the rapid development of social background, how to improve the elderly’s quality of life and health, is increasingly becoming an important research topic.The elderly as a special group, life and health needs of the diversity and specificity. Therefore, in-depth study of the elderly’s health services demand characteristics and laws of state, on the effective delivery of various forms and ways of improving elderly health care services and quality of life of older people is important. In this study, Shijiazhuang City, the elderly, for example, of the elderly in gender, age, educational level, economic conditions, demand for health services at different levels and effects of different mechanisms for further health services to better meet the needs of the elderly to make specific of the strategy recommendations.This study used a survey research methods. First through the literature on elderly health services, content and concepts are defined, analyzed the impact of age factors affecting demand for health services, drawing on existing research results, based on the demand for health services under the old theory, building health care needs of elderly index system. Secondly, according to the needs of elderly health care indicators questionnaire design, data collection through field surveys, the sample mainly from the area west of Shijiazhuang City, Hebei Province, east zone, Xinhua District, Chang’an District, Yuhua District, High-tech Development Zone, then using SPSS statistical software, quantitative analysis of the health service needs of the elderly and the relationship between demographic characteristics, data analysis, mainly using descriptive statistical analysis, ANOVA, correlation analysis and other statistical analysis methods.The results found, community health needs is the older people the most pressing health service demand, followed by the spirit soothing demand, daily care needs. And the gender, marital status on elderly health service demand in daily care needs and health management involvement have positive effects. Among them, age and the elderly health services demand in daily care needs, social needs of medical and health services had positive correlation; and the old people’s physical conditions and social health needs and spirit soothing demand presents a negative correlation. It is also found that, the elderly retired jobs on the elderly health service demand in thespirit soothingdemand also has significant influence, but the older age and spirit soothing demand, cultural level and health management involvement has positive correlation. The conclusion of the study on how to provide for the needs of the elderly’s daily care, community health, spiritual consolation, nursing hospice services, improve the quality of life of the elderly, the elderly health services meet the demand has certain theory significance and the practice value.
