ObjectivePneumoconiosis is the most common and most main kind occupational diseasesat present in our country, and it’s also the most harmful occupational disease. Theincidence of being infected Pneumoconiosisare is high. Once it happened, we donothave effective methods to treat them, the patients’ condition is irreversible, thedisability rate is high. Until now there are no exact reports or exposition about itsrecovery. Therefore, it is very important to seek pathogenic factors in pneumoconiosisprevention, patients’ pain reduction, their working ability and physical abilitymaintain. This study investigated260cases pneumoconiosis patients in the ninthpeople’s hospital of Shenyang. According to patients’ general and working conditions,we especially investigate the kinds of dust exposure, their profession, type of work, the job seniority, whether they have medical exam in past and periods of exam, self-protection, wear condition (wear frequency), whether the diagnosis of disease isestablished in on-the-job physical examination, whether they received timelytreatment after diagnosis, whether existing complications when discovered and thepatients laboratory exam.Observation Object and Methods1.Cases selectionChoose260cases pneumoconiosis patients in which194cases male and66casesfemale from1985in the ninth people’s hospital of Shenyang. Their professionsinclude machinery, light industry, building materials, railway, metallurgy, coal, aerospace and other industries.2.Survey indexPatients’ gender, age, contact what dust, working industry, type of work, seniority, having physical exam or not and exam periods, personal protection and wearcondition (wear frequency), whether received timely treatment after diagnosis andwhether existing complications when discovered, routine blood test and liver, functions. 3. Statistical methodsCollected data after investigation, selected SPSS l3.0statistical software, chooseχ~2test in many groups comparisons, choose chi-square test counting material toproceed statistics theory, significance level α≤0.05.ResultsThe results show that, the length of time of exposure on the pneumoconiosis stagehad no significant effect (P>0.05), the vast majority (proportion88.8%) for a periodof pneumoconiosis pneumoconiosis patients. Pneumoconiosis patients with anti-dustmasks for dispensing ratios were lower (10%), and are occasionally worn. The vastmajority (proportion90.4%) no formal examination in patients with pneumoconiosis.Patients with pneumoconiosis dust exposed period length on whether patients withcomplications had no significant effect (P>0.05), the vast majority (proportion73.8%) pneumoconiosis patients with complications. But wear anti-dust masks of thepneumoconiosis patients and its complications than wearing the mask of patients(P<0.05), while on duty as required by the state occupation health examination, itscomplications occasionally lower than medical patients (P<0.05), the vast majority(proportion90.4%) no formal examination in patients with pneumoconiosis. Whetherthe timely treatment after diagnosis and pneumoconiosis complications had nosignificant difference (P>0.05). Patients diagnosed after timely treatment ofcomplications is lower than not treated in time (P<0.05). Pneumoconiosis patientswith major complications as pulmonary tuberculosis and pulmonary emphysema andpulmonary heart disease. The prevalence of pneumoconiosis patients mainly manifested after mild andmoderate ventilation disorder, mild disturbance of ventilation ratio was34.6%,moderate disturbance of ventilation ratio of58.5%, severe disturbance of ventilationratio of6.9%, and there were no complications, on ventilatory dysfunction severityhad no significant effect (P>0.05).Pneumoconiosis patients with WBC, RBC count and AST, ALT no abnormal changes,in the normal range.ConclusionThe object of observation in patients with pneumoconiosis during the workingperiod, according to the requirements of the physical examination, enterprisesaccording to the requirements for dispensing anti-dust masks, diagnosis of pneumoconiosis after timely treatment, can reduce the proportion of patients withcomplications. But whether the complications of pneumoconiosis patients withventilatory function had no significant effect on pneumoconiosis patients; the bloodand liver function showed no significant change, and the normal range.
