| Objective:Through using the ear-acupoint-compression to prevent the bladder spasm after the TURP operation and observing its clinical effects and safety.Methods:with the randomized and controlled method,61cases that were going to have the TURP operation were selected. Among them,31cases belong to the experimental group, which were treated with the ear-acupoint-compression along with the usual treatment; while the rest30cases were the control group, which were treated with the usual treatment only. After the qualified screening, those patients were treated with ear-acupoint-compression24hours before the TURP surgery. And after the surgery, those two groups observed and compared the times and strength of the cystospasm, as well as the postoperation pain in72hours. And comparing the time of flashing liquor turn clear, washing and the days of patients stay in hospital. All those results were statistic analyzed with SPSS19.0. P<0.05indicate that the difference has statistical significance.Results:It is a notable effective that the30cases in experimental group, which43%occurred the bladder spasm, while36%among them were mild,17%were moderate, none of severe, compared with the31cases in the control group, which shows that58%of them occurred the bladder spasm, while32%among them were mild,17%were moderate, and9%were severe. In all, the experimental group compared with the control group has its notable effective on preventing the pain; shorten the washing time and decreasing the days in hospital.Conclusion:The ear-acupoint-compression has a notable curative effect to provide and cure the bladder spasm after the TURP surgery. It can ease the pain and cut down the bleeding after the surgery, and also decrease the days of in hospital. This kind of treatment cost less but highly effective with simplicity of processing surely became a safety and effective Chinese medicine traditional treatment to provide and cure the bladder spasm on the TURP postoperation. |
