It need more index component to control the quality of Traditional Chinese medicine. Yuanhu Zhitong prescription’dosages have many different standard and each of them are not uniform.So it cost too much. The thin layer chromatography separation and biological activity determination are combined in TLC—Bioautography.It not only can determine biological activity quickly,but also higher sensitivity and specificity. QAMS can quantitative analysis of multi-components with one reference and it’s more suitable for quality control of complex system.TLC-Bioautography and QAMS was used in order to establish a method for qualitative and quantitative analysis of active ingredients in Angelica dahurica var. formosana and Yuanhu Zhitong capsule/tablet. Preliminary exploration with the general standard of one variety which has different dosage forms based on this.1To evaluation antioxidant activity and acetylcholinesterase inhibit activity of Angelica dahurica var. formosana and antioxidant activity of Yuanhu Zhitong capsule with TLC-bioautography. Three coumarins of Angelica dahurica var. formosana have these two activities. There are some differences in two activities between different batches. Fumigated Angelica dahurica var. formosana with sulfur will reduce the content of coumarin and affects their activity. Tetrahydropalmatione、imperatorin and isoimperatorin are the main activity component in Yuanhu Zhitong capsule and there’re some differences in different batches.2To develop a QAMS method for simultaneous determination of three coumarins in Angelica dahurica var. formosana. With imperatorin as internal reference standard, and2relative correction factors(RCF) to imperatorin were calculated. Their contents in different batches were determined by both external standard method and QAMS. No significant differences were found by comparing the quantitative results between the two methods. To develop a QAMS method of two types components in Yuanhu Zhitong capsule and validate its feasibility by comparing the quantitative results determined with external standard method. It is concluded that QAMS is feasible and suitable for quality control of Angelica dahurica var. formosana. and Yuanhu Zhitong capsule.3In the basis of experiment, unified qualitative identification and the content determination methods of Yuanhu Zhitong prescription, including capsule and tablet.Try to put two standards into unified one. Research shows that Yuanhu Zhitong capsule and Yuanhu Zhitong tablet can give accurate results in the same analysis conditions. The application of QAMS in the quantitative control of multi-components is feasible.
