Objective:to investigate the impact of estradiol valerate administrated time on the follicular inhibited and the pregnancy outcome of freeze-thaw blastocyst transfer cycles in the artificially preparing the endometrium programs. Methods:A retrospective cohort study was performed of515cycles between Jan2010and Oct2011in Reproductive Medicine Center of Tongji Hospital (n=515cycles).The patients were classified into three groups according to the first day of estradiol valerate administration:group D1, group D3and group D5. Information was compared within these three groups including clinical features (age, years of infertility, the number of implantation blastocyst, blastocyst score),clinical pregnancy rate, ectopic pregnancy rate, biochemical pregnancy rate, abortion rate, follicle inhibited rate, bigger follicle growth rate, ovulation rate,pre-implantation endometrium thickness and soon. Results:There was no significant relation of the clinical features among these three groups, which including age, years of infertility and the number of implantation blastocyst (P>0.05);however,the number of transplanted blastocyst and blastocyst score differences were statistically significance (P<0.05). Among three groups, clinical pregnancy rate, ectopic pregnancy rate, biochemical pregnancy rate, abortion rate, bigger follicle growth rate and ovulation rate were no significant difference (P>0.05);Compared bigger follicular growth cycles and small follicular cycles, the pregnancy outcome was no significant difference among these three groups, its clinical pregnancy rate and abortion rate respectively were (74.07%vs66.67%) and (5%vs8.86%),while ovulation cycles was53.85%and14.29%,the difference was not statistically significant (P>0.05).Conclusion:During the early-follicular,the day of initiating estradiol valerate administration was not corelated with endometrium development, follicular inhibited and pregnancy outcome of frozen-thawed blastocyst transfer cycles. Bigger follicular growth did not affect the outcome of pregnancy. But,spontaneous ovulation might have a trend of having lower clinical pregnancy rate and higher abortion rate.
