This study used Social Support Model as direction and Empowerment theory andGeneral systems theory as the theoretical basis, and used group as the main method ofsocial work to lead10Pediatric patients of Wuhan Mental Health Center who were beingrehabilitation of Schizophrenia to finished4period’s activities. We named "Socialinteraction experience" as the theme of Group, aimed at increasing the long-termresidential pediatric patients’ experiences of interpersonal interaction, and analyzed therole and significance of social work methods to help the10Pediatric patients’ socialfunction recovery.In the process of data collection, we have found that Pediatric patients had certaindemand for games and social interactions, but long-term residential treatment made itimpossible. At the same time we also found that they had two difficulties need to behandled, the one thing is denying the facts that they really suffering from Schizophrenia,the other thing are social difficulties. In response to these issues, we have adopted thegroup method with some games which were entertaining and reflective; also we haveconducted individual interviews with group members before activities and after activities,to compare with their emotions, attitudes and behaviors. As for the results, our partnershave collected a lot of materials, including group members’ basic information, observationrecords by our partners, interviews records exert and so on, though compare those parts,we have found some useful ideas: First, these group members willing to join the socialinteractions. Second, in the daily life, they showed a more positive and initiative side.Third, Group members have funded a social interaction net. The last one, group membershave realized that what dose the important others mean to themselves, and the groupmay promote the members to built interaction net outside.
