Objective:To analyze the clinic effect of Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy(HBOT) intraumatic lower limbMethods:From January2010to December2011,73patients with extensive soft tissueinjury,peripheral nerve injury, opening fractures, grafting skin and the wound does not healafter trauma;especially the avusled large area flap with blood circulation disorder, thecompartment syndrome and the compartment syndrome after incision to save the residualmuscle in traumatic lower limb.The patients were treated with HBOT after admission or thesecond day postoperatively.Results:56cases out of73patients in this group were cured, markedly effective in9cases,8cases invalid, the effective rate was reached to89%.Conclusions:If the hospital and the patient’s body conditions are permitting,andpatient compliance is better..Lower limb trauma can use hyperbaric oxygen therapy toimprove the efficacy of trauma, reduce patient’s pain and shorter hospital stay, whilereducing the costs of hospitalization.
