Currently, the relationship between emotion and dicision making is attractingmore and more attention. There are many articles in which the affect of emotion onnormal people’s dicision making has been deeply researched in recent years and havegot a lot of achievements. But the research in which in which the affect of emotion onspecial groupes’ dicision making has not been carried out.This study was divided into2experiments. Experiment one expose thedifferences between the addicts’ and normal people’s dicision making using the IowaGambling Task. Experiment two further study the effect of sad emotion on theaddicts’ decidion-making.Experiment one shows that:1. As the program went on, the control group haveformed the right decision strategies, but the addicts have not formed the right decisionstrategies.2. The control group prefers to choose the higher frequency punishmentcards and the high yield cards than the addicts.3. The two groups prefers to choosethe cards with the lower frequency punishment. the control group like to choose thecards with low yield and low risk, but the addicts group like to choose the cards withhigh yield and high risk.Experiment two shows that: Sad emotion had greater effects on decision-making.Sad emotion helps the addicts form the right decision strategies and therefore have alower risk. However, sad emotiion is bad for normal people, they prefers to a higherrisk in this situation.In conclude, this paper further proved that the sadness have difference affect onthe decision-making. We discussed the affect of the sadness on Heroin addicts andhave some intrresting results. Future research should be added to the gender variableand the other more specific enmtion-related research.. In addition, the other twodecision-making paradigm of drug-addicted subjects need further discussed in thefollowing days.
