Objective:This study researches the postoperative clinical efficacy of Chinese herb fumigation combined with operation in the treatment of dislocation of acromioclavicular joint.Methods:According to the state administration of traditional Chinese medicine " TCM diagnosis of disease and syndrome curative standard" of dislocation of acromioclavicular joint, according to the randomized controlled principle the Tossy type III acromioclavicular joint dislocation, the60cases patients who hospitalized in Sept.2010to June.2011will be divided into the treatment group (group A) and the control group (group B) two groups,30cases each group, the control group(group B) using a simple functional exercise for treatment and the treatment group (group A) using Chinese herbal fumigation with functional exercise. And record the general clinical data of the two group cases, the time of injury to operation, the function recovery,the standard of postoperative shoulder function evaluation and the Shoulder Constant Score.Results:1. Two weeks after operation (before fumigation), the two groups were made comparisons in both shoulder flexion, abduction, extension degree and the shoulder Constant Score. According to statistics analysis(P>0.05), the treatment group and the control group have no significant differences before fumigation.2. After4weeks (2courses),6weeks (4courses) and8weeks after operation, comparing the two groups of shoulder flexion, abduction, extension degree and the shoulder Constant Score, according to statistics analysis (P<0.05), indicating that the treatment group improving the shoulder function after the operation of acromioclavicular joint is better than those in the control group.
