The Combined Application Of The Vacuum-assisted Drainage And The Tuo Li Xiao Du San In The Treatment Of Postoperative Infection After Leg Fractures Which Was Associated With Lingering Pathogen Due To Deficient Vital Qi

ObjectiveThe present study is aimed to appraise the effectiveness of the combined application of The vacuum assisted drainage and The tuo li xiao du san in the treatment of postoperative infection after leg fractures which was associated wi-th lingering pathogen due to deficient vital qi.MethodSeptember2009to October2010,a total of46patients,who met the inclus-ion criiteria,were treated in the department of Nanjing Military Region,Fu zhou General Hospital.There were38males and8females,aged from20to62years old,anaverage of38.91years. Infection of the face defect type:type2first-deg-ree were23cases.type2second-degree were10cases.type3first-degree were8cases.type3second-degree were5cases.Fracture part:9were tibiofibular frac-tures,37were tibialfractures.Fixation methods:external fixation were15cases, internal fixation were31cases.Fracture types:the wound after the surgery of o-pen fractures were12cases,the wound after the surgery of closed fractures we-re34cases,They were grouped by using random grouping,23patients who under went The vacuum-assist-ed drainage and The tuo li xiao du san constituted tre-atmentgroup,the other23patients who underwent The vacuum-assisted drainage constituted control group.By the statistical method,two groups age,Gender and t-ype of wounds is comparable.All patients were treated by therapy of focal cle-aning and antibiotics after admission.They were treated by systemic antibiotican followed up in a year a-fter admission.Recording and analysising hospitalization time,infection sensitive biochemical indexes after3days,7days and14days(T-he leukocyte count,eryth-rocyte sedimentation rate,CRP,Microbiologic Culture),the healing of fractures an-d wounds,the situation of Infection Recurrence.According to Diagnostic efficacyof standard TCM Syndrome and SPSS17.0statistical soft ware to process and statisticalanalysis.Result1.Two weeks later(take the last test results of hospitalization time on3d-ays,7days and14days),compared with control group,the treatment group’s ind-exes(The leukocyte count,Erythrocyte sedimentation rate,CRP,Microbiologic Cult-ure) were better(P<0.05).2.Following-up of1year,The treatment group’s cured rates of wounds and the fractures is better than the control group’s(P<0.05).The recurrence rate of the treatment group is lower (P<0.05) and hospitalization time is shorter (P<0.05).3.The overall Clinical effect of the treatment group was better than the c-ontrol group(P<0.05).ConclusionThe healing rate of fractures and wounds of the treatment group were b-etter than the random grouping’s.The recurrence rate of the treatmentgroup is1-ower and the hospitalization time is shorter.
