A Study Of Effect Yiliu Decoction Combined With Chemotherapy On Quality Of Life Of Qi Deficiency And Blood Stasis Type Postoperative Ovarian Carcinoma Patients

Purpose Observed the impact of Yiliu decoction combined with chemotherapy on quality of life of qi deficiency and blood stasis type postoperative ovarian carcinoma patients.Method The60postoperative ovarian carcinoma patients were randomly divided into two groups(N=30). The treatment group received the treatment of Yiliu decoction combined with chemotherapy, but the control group received chemotherapy alone. After treatment the TCM syndromes, quality of life, human functional status and toxicity of two groups were compared, and then we were valuation of the impact of Yiliu decoction combined with chemotherapy on quality of life of qi deficiency and blood stasis type postoperative ovarian carcinoma patients.Result1.In the regard of TCM syndromes, the total effective rate of treatment group was63.33%and the total efficiency of Control group was24.13%. They have significant difference (P<0.05). SO the efficacy of the treatment group was better than the control group.2.In the regard of quality of life, there were significant differences between the two groups in physical function, emotional function,role function, social function, fatigue, pain, nausea and vomiting, Insomnia, poor appetite, diarrhea, the overall health(P<0.05). The effect of the treatment groups in improve the quality of life of the above areas is better than the control group.But the cognitive function, shortness of breath, constipation and economic conditions between the two groups is essentially the same (P>0.05).3. In the regard of human functional status, there were significant differences between the two groups (P<0.05).The efficacy of the treatment group on improving body functions was better than the control group.4.In the regard of toxicity, there were significant differences between the two groups in the reduction in WBC, NE and HGB, the rise of Cr and ALT,and the occurrence rate of nausea and vomiting and hematuria (P<0.05). The efficacy of the treatment group was better than the control group on preventing and reducing the side effects of chemotherapy-induced, including the bone marrow suppression, gastrointestinal symptoms and liver and kidney dysfunction.Conclusion1.Yiliu decoction was able to improve the quality of life of qi deficiency and blood stasis type postoperative ovarian carcinoma patients.2. Yiliu decoction was able to prevent and reduce the side effects of chemotherapy-induced, including the bone marrow suppression, gastrointestinal symptoms and liver and kidney dysfunction.
