Clinical Study Of Open Xuanfu Treatment Of Secretory Otitis Media

Objective:Through the application of the theory Xuanfu(Sweat pore) and the Treatment of open Xuanfu(Dredging Sweat pore) using in secretory otitis media, and observe of clinical efficacy, analysis of traditional Chinese medicine in treatment intervention to reduce symptoms of secretory otitis media, restore hearing and short the course, to explore the guide of Xuanfu(Sweat pore) theory in the secretory otitis media, to find the ideal Treatment and herbs in Chinese medicine treatment for the clinical treatment of secretory otitis media and to provide better information and effective treatment rules.Methods:Comply with standards of72patients with secretory otitis media (105ears) were randomly divided into treatment group and control group, in which the treatment group,36cases of51ears,54ears in control group of36patients.Treatment group was treated with formulated-self open Xuanfu soup addition and subtraction with the tympanic puncture and injection and oral medication standards Myrtol enteric-coated capsules (Gino pass) and dispersible tablets of cefprozil treatment. Control group with tympanic puncture and injection and oral medication standards Myrtol enteric-coated capsules (Gino pass)and dispersible tablets of cefprozil treatment, the conventional methods. In accordance with the development of evaluation standard, two courses of treatment (14days), the two groups of patients with efficacy. And patients with clinical follow-up1month, respectively, were observed in patients with short-term effect.Results:1. After two courses, the overall efficacy of the treatment group, the total efficiency is84.3%and70.4%in control group. The statistical effects observed as a whole, was statistically significant (P<0.05);2. Clinical follow-up by1month, the overall efficacy results of the treatment group is88.2%. In the control group, the total efficiency is79.6%.The statistical observation, two groups of patients with a recent overall effect was statistically significant (P<0.05). Conclusion:1. Opened Xuanfu soup is the herbs formulated according to Xuanfu(Sweat pore) theory and methods, so the subject for the study Xuanfu(Sweat pore) theory provides research ideas,and adopting method of opened Xuanfu for ear treat secretory otitis media is feasible;2. After two courses, the treatment group whose overall efficacy were improved, is superior to the control group (P<0.05).The overall efficacy of treatment group observed in short-term effect (follow-up1month) is better than the control group (P<0.05). Therefore opened Xuanfu (Dredging Sweat pore) treating secretory otitis media has a good effect;3. Curative effect in soup of opened Xuanfu(Dredging Sweat pore) with the tympanic puncture injection and oral medication treatment of secretory otitis media compared with in only application of the tympanic puncture injection and oral drug therapy is improved,indicating that subtraction with Chinese medicine treatment has certain advantages.4. The total efficiency show both treatment group and control group have certain curative effect on the treatment of secretory otitis media, and treatment group is better than control group, and in the clinical trials process have no adverse reactions, explain this method is safe and reliable to promote.
