Abstract: tinnitus is the perception of sound within human ear in theabsence of corresponding external sound, which is with rising trend as resultof changes in lifestyle and diet of modern people and increasing emotionaldisorders and noise pollution. In fact, not much has been known about thepathogenesis of tinnitus. As tinnitus is usually a false subjectivephenomenon, it is difficult to develop a standardized and recognizeddiagnosis method. Objective: The research is trying to work at the standardization ofsyndrome differentiation of tinnitus in TCM and correlation between thesyndromes of tinnitus and acupoints applied in electrical acupuncturetreatment with the purpose of developing a totally new treatment idea.Method: the research adopts literature research method through theoverview of all the corresponding symptom information in Chinese medicineclassics.of successive dynasties and literatures of Chinese medicineperiodical literature database within20years in relation to tinnitus tobuild the “list of tinnitus syndromes of Chinese medicine". In this phase, all the symptoms will be normalized to be merged, modified and excludedaccording to corresponding materials, treatise, publications and nationaland institutional standards such as “Chinese medicine keywords table” andwsyndromes part of Chinese medicine clinical terms", and the symptoms withthe frequency lower than10%will be excluded Based on the list, the Chinese medicine four diagnostics information table will be accomplished. This tablewill be used to collect the information of the patients, which will be countedand analyzed in order to get the most frequent symptoms.Result: Result; although with numerous symptoms, the ones of tinnitus fromfour diagnostics table could be categorized as yin sufficiency and kidneydeficiency, spleen deficiency, stagnation, dampness, heat, fire, Qi disorder,Qi stagnation, deficiency of qi and blood, which all happen to ears, concerning about four organs of spleen, kidney, liver and heart*The totalproportion Yin deficiency, phlegm dampness, and qi stagnation mostly reaches54.7%, the9remaining of syndrome elements accounted for45-3%in total.Accounting the syndromes in83patients, upward disturbance of liver-firein41cases, retention of phlegm-fire in16cases, kidney essence deficiencyin11cases, spleen-stomach weakness in6cases,9cases of wind-heat invasion. The type of upward disturbance of liver-fire with the mosy cases was Choosedto be randomly regrouped as treatment group for21cases, control group for20cases. The control treatment receive the combined electroacupuncturetreatment of main acupoints and association acupoints, and treatment grouponly in main points, the control group. The treatment group of21cases, themarkedly effective rate was19.1%, with an efficiency of57.1%, the totaleffective rate was76.2%, higher than that of control group20cases markedlyeffective rate was5%, with an efficiency of40%, the total efficiency of45%, Through the chi-square test,P <0.01, the difference is significant, which suggests treatment of selecting dialectical prescription treatmentscan get better clinical efficacy than that without ones. Conclusion: multivariate analysis of tinnitus syndromes in TCM willcontribute to standardize the syndromes of tinnitus in TCM, and supplycorresponding evidence and develop brand new ideas for syndromedifferentiation of tinnitus. Moreover, it is not suitable to ignore the application of association acupoints due to the correlation between tinni tussyndromes and application of acupoints. It is essential to choose properpoints in the treatment of tinnitus with different syndromes. In addition,it is significantly helpful in the treatment to give the patientspsychological guide so as to build the major health concept of the patients.
