Objective:To explore the relationship between C-myc, hMLHl and the expression of HPV16in cervical lesions. Method:Immunohistochemical SPstaining was performed to detect the expression of C-myc protein and hMLHl in paraffin embedded cervical tissue specmiens from Uighurwomen with chronic cervicitis, cervical intraepithelial neoplasia (CIN) and cerv ical squamous cellcarc inoma(CSCC). The HPV16DNA was detected by PCR.. Results:The positive expression rates of c-myc inchronic cervicitis, cervical inraepithelial neoplasia (CIN) and cervical carcinoma were26.7%(8/30)),50%(30/60)and69.2%(36/52),respectively(P<0.05),whereas The expression rates of hMLHl were66.7%(20/30),56.7%(34/60) and30.7%(16/52)(P<0.05), respectively. Statistically significant different was among the three groups for both C-myc and hMLH1。The positive expression rate of C-myc elevated with FIGO stage, histological grade and the lymph node metastasis; Down-regulation of hMLHl were significantly correlated with histological grade and the lymph node metastasis;(P<0.05, respectively); C-myc were positively associated with HPV16infection in cervical carcinoma; Down-regulation of hMLHl were negatively associated with HPV16infection in cervical carcinoma。Conclusion HPV16may play an important role in the cervical development in cervical carcinoma by affectting the expression of C-myc and hMLHl proteins。...
