Objective:To study the small white apricot almond oil, to systematically determinethe nutrients and quality of small white apricot almond oil and to study influence andmechanism of the small white apricot almond oil to rats′blood fat. Methods:Thenutritional values and ingredients of the small white apricot almond oil were examinedand evaluated according to the national standards.50Wistar male rats were fed withstandard diet for one week in the test environment; cholesterol (TC), triglyceride (TG),low density lipoprotein cholesterol (LDL-C) and high density lipoprotein cholesterol(HDL-C) were compared. According to cholesterol (TC) level the rats were randomlydivided into normal control group, high fat diet group, low dose group, middle dose groupand high dose group. Three dose groups were fed with high fat diet and almond oil (lowdose1ml/kg·d, middle dose2ml/kg·d, high dose4ml/kg·d). The normal control groupwas fed with basic diet. The high fat diet group was fed with high fat diet. Normal controlgroup and high fat diet group were fed with equal volume water4ml/kg every day. Aftereight weeks, different groups′cholesterol (TC), triglyceride (TG), low density lipoproteincholesterol (LDL-C), high density lipoprotein cholesterol (HDL-C), apolipoprotein AI(ApoAI), apolipoprotein B (ApoB), three iodine thyroid original acid (T3) and insulinlevels were compared. The livers were taken for pathologic observation. RT-PCR wasused for analysising the level of ApoAI, ApoB gene expression. Results:1.The smallwhite apricot almond oil contented of crude99.5%fat,0.2%carbohydrate,0.1%water,0.2%impurity,0.003mg/100g VA,0.06mg/100g ɑ-VE,2.Fatty acids consisted of71%oleinicacid,22.7%linoleicacid.3.The small white apricot almond oil contented of0.633mg/100g calcium,0.828mg/100g sodium,0.390mg/100g potassium,0.083mg/100giron,0.054mg/100g zinc.4.The wet weight of liver of normal control group was lower thanthe other groups, the wet weight of liver of high dose group was lower than the high fat diet group, the liver index of normal control group was lower than the high fat diet group.5.The TC and TG levels of middle dose and high dose group were lower than the high fatdiet group, while HDL-C level were significantly higher than the high fat diet group.6.TheApoAI level of three dose groups were significantly higher than the high fat diet group;the ApoB level of high fat diet group was higher than normal control group; the ApoBlevel of three dose groups were not higher than high fat diet group.7.The insulin and T3levels of three dose groups and normal control group were higher than high fat dietgroup.The insulin and T3levels of high dose group were higher than low dose group.8.Expression level of ApoAI gene of high dose group was higher than high fat diet group;the high fat diet was lower than normal control group. Expression level of ApoB gene ofhigh fat diet group was higher than normal control group.Conclusion:The small whiteapricot almond oil was rich in carbohydrates and mineral elements. Middle and high dosegroup small white apricot almond oil can reduce the TC and TG levels of hyperlipidemiarats; can effectively restrain the reducing of HDL-C level, such as reducing blood fat; cansignificantly increase the levels of ApoA1, ApoB, insulin and T3of hypolipidemic rats;can increase expression level of ApoAI gene; and then affect the blood fat directly orindirectly.
