Objective: The aim of this study was to survey prevalence rate of congenitalheart disease at Uygur, Han, Kazak children in Xinjiang Province China and to analyze its dangerous and protective factors. Methods: By using a four-stage seleetedRandom sampling method and11241child-ern in different regions with differentEthnic aceepted infacts and diagnosis on transthoracic Doppler echocardiography examination. Results: There were160CHD of11241children from in Xinjiang Province China, prevalence was1.42%(simple1.014; severe0.142) in children,Overall prevalence of CHD was highest for Uygur (1.58%) followed by Kazak (1.41%),Han,(0.7%), prevalence of CHD was highest for Kashi region (2.4%), followed byFuhai (1.08%), Hotan (0.77%),the lowest prevalence.secundumatrial septal defect(ASDII;0.267%), was the most common defect, followed by Ventricular septal defect (VSD;0.249%),patent ductus arteriosus (PDA;0.178), pulmonary stenosis(PS;0.071), end-ocardial cushion defect (ECD;0.018), Average weight of the positive group(29.00±18.00) kg; average weight of the negative group (47.00±7.00) kg. Two sets of body weight difference was statistically significant (P<0.05), positive group, the average BMI (16.25±4.00) kg/m; negative group, the average BMI (18.44±3.00) kg/m. Two groups of difference in BMI was statistically significant (P<0.05), the average height of the positive group (136.49±21.54) cm; negative aver-age height (160.02±6.03) cm, two sets of height difference was statistically signi-ficant (P<0.05). The prevalence of different ages vary, of Hc=18.2479P=0.0001sta tistically significant (P<0.05).Age group the smaller the higher the prevalen-ce of children under the age of2prevalence was significantly higher than other age groups.2-year-old children with prevalence rate prevalence rate of less than2years of age group but higher than other age groups. The lowest prevalence of12-year-old group. Conclusions: The prevalence of congenital heart disease between men andwomen, no difference, the Uighur CHD prevalence in Han, Kazak and other ethnic g-roups, Han prevalence is lower than the Uygur and Kazak. Kashi high prevalence the Fuhai followed, the lowest prevalence of Hotan Prefecture. The prevalenceof children under the age of2was significantly higher than other age groups.2-year-old children with prevalence rate prevalence rate of less than2years of agegroup but higher than other age groups. The lowest prevalence of12-year-old group. C-omplex lesions the highest prevalence of simple lesions ASD highest, followed by the VAD, the lowest prevalence of the ECD. The overall incidence of mild abnor-malities the highest incidence. Sick child weight, height, BMI slightly higher than the sick children, suggesting that CHD in children with growth and developmental effects.
