The Clinical Observation On The Interventional Treatment Of Airway Stenosis Induced By Airways Tumors By The Bronchoscope

Objective: To investigate outcome of the interventional treatment of tracheal stenosiscaused by airways tumors through the bronchoscope. Method: by method of cryosurgery,high frequency electrocautery, argon plasma coagulation and stent implantation throughthe bronchoscopeby, using one or more methods of treatment of20cases of airway tumor,and compared with that before,observe the therapeutic effects. Results: Before thetreatments, the PaO2(mmHg)76.84±11.23, PaCO2(mmHg)42.64±12.78, SaO2(%)84.63±11.10, the internalmean diameter of airways(cm)0.55±0.14, dyspneaclassification3.25±0.44, Karnofsky score (KPS)60.50±6.05; after the treatment, thePaO2(mmHg)86.00±7.69, PaCO2(mmHg)33.65±9.84, SaO2(%)92.36±9.58, theinternalmean diameter of airways(cm)1.14±0.11, dyspnea classification1.55±0.76,Karnofsky score (KPS)79.50±8.87, The differences were statistical significance (P＜0.05). there are20Tracheal stenosis patients,13case are airways tumors patients,8casesgot complete remission,while5cases were partial remission, the total effective rate was100%. Conclusion: After t-he interventional treatment of tracheal stenosis caused byairways tumors through the bronchoscope,can make tumor regression, reopen lumen,clinical symptoms were improved, can improve patients’ quality of life. At the same timethis method provides easy operation, significant curative effect, this treatment is safe,patients’ tolerance is good. Cryosurgery, high frequency electrocautery, argon plasmacoagulation were mainly used for the airways tumor airway. The stent implantation weremainly used for the stenosis by external pressure of airways tumors.
