Clinical Effect Investigation On Chushi Weiling Decoction Treatment Of Pixu Shiyun Type Herpes Zoster

Objective:To observe Clinical effect investigation on Chushi Weiling Decoction treatment of Pixu Shiyun type herpes zoster.Method:The two groups of patients of Pixu Shiyun type were HZ patients in the First Hospital of Wuhan from May2011to November2011. Number of patients to standard HZ80cases were aged between18to70years and divided into treatment group and the control group according to randomly treatment order. Traditional Chinese medicine group and control group were both40cases. The general situation of gender, age, disease duration, rash site were comparable, the differences were not significant by statistical analysis (P>0.05). The control group was treated with valaciclovir tablets (0.3g po bid); the Chinese Medicines took Chushi Wei ling Decoction; rashes were coated with gold-glycerin liniment and Famciclovir cream (1or2times/day); NK808as physical therapy was used in local irradiation;10days as a course. Time of the rash stopping blisters, crusting and relieving pain was observed during treatment; In the end of a course of treatment, two groups were compared in the efficacy of the cases, pain rate and neuralgia incidence; Throughout the observation process, the occurrence of adverse reactions should be paid close attention and be dealt with timely and effective manner. SPSS17.0software was for statistical analysis, t-test was used to analyze whether the differences of the time of stopping blisters, crusting and relieving pain in traditional Chinese medicine group and control group, analysis of traditional Chinese medicine with or without significant group differences in the control group, all the data are expressed as mean±standard deviation(P<0.05); the comparison of quantitative indicators of clinical efficacy, pain and postherpetic neuralgia incidence was analyzed with x2test (P<0.05).Results:There was no apparent difference in age, sex, course, pre-therapeutic condition and other things in general (P>0.05).After a course of treatment, results showed that the treatment group was better than the control group at the time of stopping blisters and drying, and the difference was obviously significant; in terms of average analgesia and clinical efficacy and the incidence of pain rate and the prevention of postherpetic neuralgia, there was no statistical difference between the two groups.Conclusions:Traditional Chinese Medicine believed that the etiology of the HZ was more than wind, wet, fire, sentiment, improper diet, spleen and stomach deficiency, the core of the pathogenesis is mostly wet, heat, deficiency and blood stasis, and the disease was associated with liver, gallbladder, spleen, heart. HZ was regarded as self-limiting skin disease, caused by an infection of VZV which was latent varicella infection and then activate the performance of able-bodied persons after recovery of the immune system, usually without sequelae, but the elderly, the infirm and other immunocompromised persons often suffered from severe pain, rash, and complications, even life-threatening. From the clinical observation of a considerable number of cases, we could found causes of disease, such as staying up all night, weariness and associated chronic diseases, which leaded to decrease immunity incentives, damage splenic function, particularly the elderly and the infirm, so that causes of morbidity was closely related to spleen deficiency, the more real modern studies have shown that spleen deficiency syndrome is closely related to the immune system, taking advantage of spleen governance and tackling the problem In clinical. However, people found that Pixu Shiyun was easy to produce heat. Therefore, we should need to strengthen treatment of the spleen, remove humid and heat, promote blood circulation, cool blood, eliminate carbuncle in clinical treatment, which could prevent the mass change to reduce the damage to the nerves, reduce the incidence of sequelae, according to both the root causes and clinical manifestations at the same time, The Chushi Weiling Decoction was used for the treatment of Pixu Shiyun type HZ in order to improve immune function, anti-inflammatory, anti-virus and relieve pain, because of the function of helping spleen, promoting blood circulation, detoxification and reducing pain, patients can enhance physical, that is to mention its high immunity to reduce the incidence of HZ, and can shorten the course and promote healing.
