Analysis And Comparison For The Measuring Data In Several Cases Of Surgery For Mandibular Angle Correction

[Objective] Based on the comparison analysis of the measurement data for several successful cases of plastic surgery, the evaluation of surgery effect by the facial measurement parameters will be investigated, especially the relationship between gonion degree measurements and surgery effect as well as its statistic meaning will be investigated.[Method] Choose four cases of successful plastic surgery with increasing sample numbers as analyzing samples. Comparison and statistic analysis was made using gonion degree measurement data by graphic software.[Result] Mean value of gonion degree is in the rage of111.74°～113.5°with the median of112.62°before the surgery, and in the rage of125.1°～129.51°with the median of127.31°after surgery. The standard deviation(SD) for the mean value of gonion degree becomes much smaller after surgery.[Conclusion] Comparison analysis results show that standard deviation for the mean value of gonion degree become smaller after surgery, indicating that aesthetic standard considering gonion degree for the different part of our country is almost the same.
