Objective:To explore the role of PDZRN3in prostate cancer, through investigating the expression of PDZRN3’s mRNA and protein in the prostate of benign prostatic hyperplasia, localized and metastatic prostate cancer tissue and different differentiation degree of prosate cancer. Methods:Respectively according to the clinical stages of prostate cancer and prostate cancer Gleason scores of grouping, the expression of PDZRN3’s mRNA and protein were detected through RT-PCR、 Real-time PCR and Western blot. The data were statistically analyzed with the SPSS15.0software.Results:The expression of PDZRN3’s mRNA and protein in prostate of localized and metastatic prostate cancer was significantly lower than that in the compared prostate tissue of benign prostatic hyperplasia. The expression of PDZRN3’s mRNA and protein was decline as the value of Gleason score increasing. Conclusions:The expression of PDZRN3’s mRNA and protein in prostate of localized and metastatic prostate cancer was significantly lower which concluded that PDZRN3may play an important role in the progress of prostate cancer. The expression of PDZRN3’s mRNA and protein was decline as the value of Gleason score increasing, which conclude that the PDZRN3was related to the malignant degree of the tumor.
