| Objective: Through testing the periostin,BNP of coronary heart disease with heartfailure,we may explore the correlation among Traditional Chinese Medicine(TCM)syndrome of CHD with HF,the severity of heart failure and the level of periostin andBNP,then provide the clinical basis for the study of integration of Traditional Medicineand Western Medicine. Methods:93CHD with HF patients were defined inclinic.Collecting the patients’general information, including symptoms, signs, tongue, pulse and other clinical informations, then all the patients were divided into three clinicaltypes of TCM syndrome:46cases of qi-deficiency,47cases of yang-deficiency. Accordingto the cardiac function standard of New York Heart Association,We devided patients intothree groups:31patients were gradeⅡ,31patients were grade Ⅲ,31patients were gradeⅣ.31healthy volunteers were enrolled as normal control group. Collecting all of theresearch object of clinical data, using enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA)method for the detection of serum periostin protein level. The BNP was detected by usingthe United States of America Bo fitness company Triage heart failure quantitativediagnosis instrument. We analyzed these datum with the statistics software SPSSl6.0.Results:1. High-density lipoprotein(HDL-C) in CHD with HF group was lower than thatin the normal control group; The other indicators were higher than those of the normalcontrol group;TC,TG,periostin and BNP had significant difference between twogroups(p<0.05);;2. With the deterioration of cardiac function, the expression ofperiostin in CHD with HF patients was higher than the normal control group;3. BNP ofCHD with HF group had significant correlation with heart function classification. With the deterioration of cardiac function, the level of BNP was increased;4. BNP of CHD withHF group had significant correlation with age. With the increase of age,the level of BNPincrease;5.The level of TC,TG,periostin and BNP of the two TCM Syndrome weresignificantly higher than those of the normal control group, but there had no differencesamong the three groups; Conclusion:1The level of periostin and BNP in CHD with HFgroup were significantly higher than those in the normal control group;2. The level ofperiostin and BNP had significant correlation with the severity of heart failure.3. BNP ofCHD with HF group had significant correlation with age;4. The level of periostin and BNPhad no significant differences among TCM Syndrome groups. |
