Background Vigorously popularize the knowledge of breast cancer、a variety of testsand patient focus of breast disease, the women demand on their own breast is gettinghigher and higher, a lot of lumps smaller, installments earlier breast cancer is found. With the development of the sentinel lymph node studies in recent years, more andmore axillary lymph node-negative breast cancer patients being taken seriously.Although axillary lymph node-negative breast cancer (Node-Negative Breast Cancer)have a good prognosis, but because of the heterogeneity of the tumor, different cases oftumor invasion and metastasis tendency, part of the cases of postoperative recurrenceor metastasis. Analysis of the unique pathological features of the axillary lymphnode-negative breast cancer and lymph node-negative breast cancer prognostic factors(predictors), the implementation of the high-risk patients with adjuvant chemotherapycan improve efficacy, but also to avoid the purposes of unnecessary adjuvantchemotherapy on the prognosis good cases. It have a great significance. Objective This study was to investigate the clinical pathology features and prognosisanalysis in patients with early node-negative breast cancer. Methods The data of440breast cancer patients were retrospectively reviewed.Thepatients were divided into the Axillary-node-negative breast cancer group and theAxillary-node-positive breast cancer group. The clinic pathologic and prognosisanalysis of the two groups were compared. The data analyzed by χ~2method. Logistic multivariate prognosis analysis was performed. Results Univariate analysis showed that menses state (P=0.04), tumor size(P<0.001),tumor classification (P=0.008), tumor place(P=0.001) were clinic pathology featuresof early node-negative breast cancer different from node-positive breast cancer.Multivariate analysis showed that tumor size, tumor place was independent clinicpathology features of early node-negative breast cancer different from node-positivebreast cancer. Prognosis analysis showed that patients with node-negative breastcancer have lower Local recurrence rate(p<0.001)and Distant metastasis rate(p=0.002),higher survival rates, tumor size(p<0.001), tumor classification(p=0.003), tumorplace(p<0.001) were prognostic factors of early node-negative breast cancer in5-yeardisease-free survival rate, tumor size(p=0.012), tumor place(p<0.001) were prognosticfactors of node-negative breast cancer in5-year overall survival rate. Conclusions Patients with node-negative breast cancer have better prognosis thanthose with node-positive breast cancer; The tumor size, tumor place is independentclinic pathology features of node-negative breast cancer different from node-positivebreast cancer, is prognostic factors of node-negative breast cancer in5-yeardisease-free survival rate and5-year overall survival rate, too.
