Background Pain is a special type of feelings in the body by noxious stimulation, asthe sense of smell and vision, is an important factor in patients with body recovery, which is particularly severe acute pain. With the accumulation of the molecularmechanism of pain research and clinical experience, the people realize theimportance of pain management. Acute pain is an acute, sudden noxious stimulationcaused by serious damage to the patient’s mental and physical health, can causenausea, vomiting, bowel movements slow down, muscle cramps, and other adverseconsequences, thereby affecting the patient’s physical and psychological recovery.Especially orthopedic long bone fractures caused by the majority of moderate tosevere acute pain, not only led to the patient’s physical and psychological damage, but also reduce the patient’s quality of life. People has been fully aware of thedangers of pain on the body, so the pain and its mechanism of focus and emphasis ofthe past ten years. Objective To observe the role of prostaglandin E2in the acute pain causedby acute fracture. Methods Random selection of Anhui Medical University First Affiliated Hospital ofhospitalized patients newly admitted to suffering from acute pain symptoms of30patients (H group, n=30). Normally no pain in volunteers serum samples of30cases (Z-group, n=30).VAS pain score in patients with injured and hospitalized painscore, and blood samples, determination of plasma levels of prostaglandins. Thenanalgesic intervention patients take intravenous flurbiprofen axetil analgesia, analgesic therapy after2h,6h again using the VAS pain score for pain score, and to take blood samples of patients.Blood samples obtained before and after treatment bythe centrifuge after centrifugation the serum by ELISA determination of plasmalevels of prostaglandins, and be the measured data were statistically analyzed, inorder to determine whether the statistics of prostaglandin E2in acute pain, stressresponsethe significance of the sensitivity of the comparative acute pain patients andvolunteers serum concentration of prostaglandin difference.Results1.patient group (H group) before treatment and6hours after administrationplasma prostaglandin concentrations were significantly higher than the medicationtwo hours, and volunteer group (Z group), statistically significant (p <0.05).2.Patient group (H group) before treatment and two hours after the6hoursafter administration of AVS pain scores were significantly higher than themedication, pain scores were statistically significant (p <0.05).Conclusion The prostaglandin E2plays an important role in acute fracturescaused by acute pain, active use of analgesic drugs that inhibit prostaglandinlevels can effectively control patients’ pain, improve quality of life.
