Abstract To detection the expression of Oct-4, CD13in normal cervix, cervicalintraepithelial neoplasia and cervical cancer tissue, analysis of its clinical significance incervical cancer, and to explore both cervical cancer, development, invasion andmetastasis, and mutualrelationship, provide a new effective index for the diagnosis andtreatment of cervical cancer.Method The expression of OCT4protein was detected by Streptavidin-biotinperoxidase link method (SP method) immunohistochemical in60cases of cervicalcancer,60cases of cervical intraepithelial neoplasia (CIN), and30cases of normalcervical tissue. And to explore both cervical cancer, development, invasion andmetastasis, and mutualrelationship, provide a new effective index for the diagnosis andtreatment of cervical cancer.Results1.The positive rates of Oct-4in cervical cancer, CIN, normal cervical tissuewere92.5%,36.7%,0%respectively. The expressions of CD13were significantlyhigher in cancer group than in CIN and normal group(χ2=39.41,P<0.01). In cervicalcancer group, there was no significant difference for CD13expression in different age, clinical stages and lymph nodes metastasis (P>0.05), However, there was significantdifference in degree of differentiation (P﹤0.05).2.The positive rates of CD13in cervical cancer, CIN, normal cervical tissuewere81.7%,31.7%,20.0%respectively. The expressions of CD13were significantlyhigher in cancer group than in CIN and normal group(χ2=30.54,P﹤0.05). In cervicalcancer group, there was no significant difference for CD13expression in different age patient group(P>0.05), However, there was significant difference among lymph nodesmetastasis of pelvic cavity, clinical stages and degree of differentiation (P﹤0.05).Conclusion The expression of Oct-4and CD13in normal cervix, cervical intraepithelialneoplasia, cervical carcinoma was significantly increased progressively, and negativelycorrelated with the level of differentiation of cervical cancer, the preliminary view thatOCT4and CD13protein can be used as a cervical cancer stem cell surface markers forcervicaltargeted therapy of cancer research. Cervical cancer tissues with lymph nodemetastasis of CD13positive expression rate than without lymph node metastasisincreased with TNM stage, showing a rising trend, suggesting that CD13in cervicalcarcinoma development, invasion shift plays an important role. can be used as theassessment of the degree of malignancy of cervical cancer, guide therapy, evaluation animportant index of prognosis.
